I was seriously sick during d wikends so, I dcided to vsit a nearby hospital or clinic coz I dnt reealy trust those skul health centers. Getting 2 d hospital I xplaind wt I am goin through 2 d Doc.,he prescribed sme drugs and then orderd me to go 4 a test in d hospital lab.
I hv to wait 4 lyk an hour(dnt knw wt is wrong wt ds pple)may b bcoz its Ramadan,(anyhw its smhw). After waiting 4 long,d lab scientist arrived and took a sample of my blood for d test. The result corrolatd wt d medicine prescribd by d Doc. Bt d man told me dt he has seen another tin diff. Whch is MICROFILARIA.
MICROFILARIA? I hv nevr heard of such b4...Plz wt is it hw can I cure it?...and d man xplaind sme scary tins to me... Wt scares me most was d man saying I can nt gt d drug(4 treating Microfilaria) from pharmatists that I can only gt d drug 4rm local gov. clinics. I hv visitd d local gov. clinics there bt i couldn't meet d Doc. til nw,its a remote area and I cant go home nao, plz I nid ur assistance Docs. in d house, wt type of drug can I use 2 cure ds Microwtever?
Though I am Ok.bt am scared at dsame tym. Plz help.

Walex here's my advice. Since its microfilaria and not macrofilaria (adultype) you stand a better curative chance, bt such can cause elephantiasis (swollen leg) is you tk no immediate action.
Go to any nearby community health centre these drug treatment are free or you can look for this drug combination; ivermectin + albendazole. I'm surely it'll help.
However, you should be keen abt long wearing protective clothings or apply insecticide because majority of the helminthes can be tramsmitted thru mosquito bite.
