Can some1 pls tell me how much banks pay their IT students...!

@afolayangs. Do dey rilly pay more than 30k? I Submitted mt CV to a bank & dey say my qualification is bigger than d available vacancy, but dat i shld manage it until wen d vacancy dat matches my CV comes out. so i wnt to knw hw mch they pay 4 dat position dat is applicable to IT students...!

Sometimes they employ IT Student with the hope of retaining them. Some IT students came to our bank, afta apt test they were employ as staffs not ITs...it depends sha! Pay ranges frm 25to40k for ITs.

Manage the position till they have the one that suits your qualification, that even will give you upper hand (in terms of getting the position) since you are already working with them.

Btw, I really commend the bank for the 'cutting cost' method employed. Cheap labour=lesser staff cost.

But should pay even concern you, as an industrial trainee?
You should be lucky they are even paying you as an IT person.

That's a very lame excuse.
So what will you do with the money? How much possibly can you be paid during your IT?
Rather than doing IT, just find yourself a real job, if you need money. IT should be meant for learning, and to prepare you for the type of career you plan to have. If you find a good place that will give you the right career focus, you should go there even if you are not paid a cent.
