I can still remember a particular local song we used to sing when we were little kids whenever we see two boys or girls fighting. And the ending of the song though derogatory, it's kind of an appropriate name to give to anyone seen fighting in public. for if you can stoop so low to fight in public no matter the reason or excuse/provocation, it's very degrading and unimaginable especially if it's a fight between two adults. and to make the matter worse, if it's between two ladies. and making it even more worse is if the fight is because of a man. who probably is either right there, by a corner amused and watching as the two ladies are fighting over him and disgracing themselves (not him) in public, or he's somewhere else with another babe having a good time or at home with his wife and kids. playing the role of a good husband and dad (kai men!). while his mistresses are busy having a go at each other. tearing their clothes and exposing (for all to view) their 'precious parts' right there in public. either under the bridge, in the middle of the road, at the market, restaurant or even in the man's office. so, tell me if this kind of display in public is not disgraceful enough for them to be refer to as animals...two fighting, eediye meji jaa (meaning two cocks are fighting)...the song goes on and on. and it's usually not a sight to behold. cos it's a shameful act. and fighting in public (either physically or verbally) over a man, especially if it's over a married man it's more down grading and disgraceful. they ought to cover their faces in shame, cover their unclothedness as well and run home with the little sanity they still have in them.
