Recently, we caught up with Hugo Obi to discuss his gaming company’s pioneering and revolutionary strides within Nigeria’s emerging gaming start-up industry.

Hugo Obi, is a former Financial Analyst at General Electric in London and a graduate of International Business, Finance and Economics at the University of Manchester, UK, who founded MALIYO Games in May 2012 with the goal of sharing the experiences of everyday Africans with a global audience through games.

Dressed in an Olympic-styled tee-shirt on top his summer combat shorts, I sat down with Hugo at a bar in the Lekki area of Lagos one bright and lovely Saturday evening.
