Is The Collection Of Tenement Rate By Local Governments In Lagos Legal? by maclatunji: 3:32pm On Aug 28, 2012
I thought the Land Use Charge collected by Lagos State Government has replaced Tenement Rate. However, I still see some Local Governments and LCDAs in Lagos pasting notices requiring that Tenement Rate be paid. In fact, I saw a notice "sealing" a house today from a Local Government.

Those with knowledge on this should please educate me.
