Chedarking: I cant imagine who would even invest in Sheff utd...

I grew up in Highfield, very close to Bramall Lane and I've watched the st00pid club slide into oblivion.

The club is a blackhole...this man is either into money laundering and needs a front, or a VERY VERY bad business man...
definitely money laundering

Why are u guys so sentimental? How many English clubs is being owned by English business men? Is Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, West Ham etc owned by an English man? Why not tel the owners of these clubs to go and invest in their countries? If Mr. Esan was running a charitable organisation there, then i would hav blamed him for not doing dat in Naija. This is biznes.

There are people who have invested more than this amount of money in Nigeria, but the investment fold up. Why? Investments need infrastructure to survive. If we make our infrastructure right, we will not need to look for investors. They will come to us naturally.

informatix: If Jacobs removes £1mil. Out of the £300 he is investing. And invested the £1million=257million Naira in lagos Isolo Industrial estate. I am sure if he opens packaging and printing company or Plastic injection and moulding factory. More than 200 Nigerians will gain fullscale employment. And many distributor of such products will gain a Burst in their business. Many of such companies r. existing today.

semid4lyfe: Jacob Esan? He must keep a really low profile cos I've never heard of him

there are a lot of millionaires and young eligible ones at that that dont go around tooting their horns about their riches, you just have to be in their circles to know them. Personally i prefer when they dont toot their horn and keep low profiles, like naetoc says, you get the wrong attentions when ppl know abt your riches. but i think Esan should have just created his own team in naija and grow it that taking the money and investing in another country. SMH!!

You know high risk high returns?

If he could mange andd market it well he could become a billionaire. I bet when europeans come to invest and they make billions you will cry. Everyone makes money from africans besides africans. We need to invest in each others businesses.
