nice initiative but i think you can save a lot of time by not re-inventing the wheel!!!
if you go to the Thread 'STOCK MARKET TIPS FOR NIGERIANS' and read from the beginning, you will easily pick out members who are quite knowledgeable about the Nigerian Stock market and if you read through their contributions and links provided, you should find most of the info you need
all da best

@walcolm and ciaman
thanks for your post.
i know we have stock market tips for nigeria, but i want some thing that can be a laerning process.
more like analysis some stocks together using fudamental and technical analysis and learn from there.
we mustn`t buy the stocks in reality but we can analsis it and watch how the stocks go.
correct me if i am wrong but many of the people at stock market tips for nigeria are very knowlegdable compared to the rest of us that just watch our screen and wish we could ``add value`` to the thread.
i wish we could just make this thread a place just to learn and stock market tips for nigeria a place we can bring to bear what we have learnt.

I am reading widely and learning fast myself.Hopefully i should contribute something here, sooner than later.
Dont forget that we can also post analyses lifted from elsewhere(not necessarily ours),say Biz newspapers, magazines etc and we can constructively criticize them on the thread. Then,as you said,we can watch to see which way it goes.

now i am thinking of having somthing like topics we are going to be looking at.
1. basics of the stocks
2. fundamental analysis
3. technical analsis
4. try out some analsis for our selves.
i wish this thread can be as short as possible so that any boby can come here, have a good grip of stock analysis and more like graduate to Nigerian stocks market tips, where we have the worthy gurus like easimoni, fatherof2, windy, pumping etc.
By that one will not just be a silient reader but a contributors.
i think i understand chapter 1, the basics of stocks so i can handle that to the best of my ability and then we can go on from there.
N.B please let us help ourselves so that we too can be able to carry out good analysis.
what do we think??

stock analysis is an important part of our investing if we have to succeed in it. We can analyse stock technically using some indicators like RSI,MACD,DMI, COPPOCK,SWING POINT,MA, and many more but those indicators and analyses techniques work best when modified with our market pattern just as the book i read that indicators respond to each market differently. I use http://www.prostockalert.com services to get my monthly stock pick alert and you too can get the alert at no cost.
