Get Busy Dont Just Sit For A Miracle. by Nobody: 8:47pm On Sep 08, 2012
The above topic is what we hear most of the time especially towards unemployed youths. Motivational speakers, aunties, uncles, friends even those who exploit graduates nowadays use the phrase to suck people off their money.

Okay, this is it. I agree that one shouldnt just sit at home waiting for a miracle which ofcourse could happen or keep distributing resumes while doing nothing but if we look at things sincerely we all know its tough.

First solution to this phenomenon is being in connection with Christ then ideas, hardwork, educational advancement, repositioning, self improvement, experience amongst others.

Please to the Hrs, graduates, parents, undergraduates, high school students, people that have been in the painful shoes of being unemployed before they find favour as well as anyone who has a contribution that would help the over 900,000 people on this site directly or indirectly.

What are the things a graduate without a personal dime, who did averagelly well in school and whose parents are seemingly "just there" do when he or she is unemployed. What are the things such a person can do?.

Please lets share diverse ideas. Thanks and God bless us as we help eachother.

Unemployed youths this morning. Dress up & go out to see a friend that owns a business or a friend that teaches in a school. Go out to a market. Go with the mission of coming back with an idea whether it be one or two hours you spend, it may help. Cheers & wish you goodspeed today.

I pray every closed doors would be opened, eyes enlightened, favour our way & stumbling blocks removed this week in Christ name. Amen.

203 views on this thread without a proper response to the questions asked. Is is that we are selfish or we lack ideas or we keep blaming this youth when in actual fact, we have nothing to offer them in terms of advice?.

I need parents to say something, hr personel, business peopl and matured individuals. However, refer to religion section and read ''a prayer you must always say''.

First am glad u look @ d views... To my own opinion;

1. Try to know how to sell, sell ur self to d right person @ d right time.

2. Most of the youths are "SHY" without no reason.... Things u can start selling in ur areas ( liquid soap,snacks of all kinds, Rechard Cards ) @ least little earnings will come to ur pocket

3. Fear GOD !!!!!!

Get involved in Multi Level Marketing.
A good MLM requires little inital capital, and you earn on other peples efforts. MLM is currently the biggest industry in The US but Nigerian are gradually catching up. You determine your work hours and when you understand the system you determine your earning, you determine your rate of promotion. Give it a thought and do some online research to collaborate what I am saying. Read Robert Kiyosaki's books

Thanks guys for chipping that in. Dat wud help som1 definitely... I wish som1 wud learn from dat. Howeva, I believe in recent times, a skill is all we need. We shud all get a skill while looking for job.

In my present place of work, we have been deliberating about hiring a photographer or just employ him on contract basis & I so much wish I had dat skill. I had wantd 2 learn it months a go bt I faltered. Just saying in essence that when we do not have a job we may as well learn a skill.
