rtdCivilservant: You exemplify the rate people from Orlu zone insult and fight themselves everywhere now. It's a legacy which Rochas Okorocha and Hope Uzodinma are leaving for people in the zone. Unfortunate. Most of what Okorocha built in his Ideato area have been left to ruin by Uzodinma. Most of what Udenwa built in his area have been decommissioned by Uzodinma. What will happen to what Uzodinma is building in his home area after he leaves office? 4 Likes |

Ran away from here long ago hoping to return with applause when people of the so-called most educated state in Naija protested the non existence of social infrastructures in parts of Imo state outside the capital territory; and the state govt bowed to the demands of the people. But No Dice. For example, Rochas Okorocha's administration started the process of modernising social infrastructures in Anara, Okigwe, Orlu, Nwaorieubi, etc. and built quasi uncountable number of rural roads from the scratch, all over Imo state; however substandard the construction, because of the numerosity of the roads. Those Okorocha's roads opened up many of the once inaccessible rural areas in Imo state, and joined them to the state's transportation grid. How many of those rural roads, most of them now dilapidated, have been reconstructed even with asphalt since this administration came on board? Building roads from the scratch is not asa anwuru, not cheap; reconstruction is by far, very much cheaper. Tufiakwa, akpata atufu, ejighi ya aba ogaranya. Interprete: a state governor abandoning the devt efforts of his predecessors, is an incalculable loss to the entire people of the state. A few years back, a governor from the SW region described Imo state as a state of "build and destroy or abandon." 1 Like |

rtdCivilservant: Seplat should start processing gas and employ Imolites immediately. I look forward to seeing the impact the projects will make on the IGR, GDP and overall development of Imo State, especially the host community. The management of Waltersmith Modular Refinery is still expanding its refining capacity and planning an industrial park in the same area. This is the perfect time for real estate developers to move to Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta axes and build decent estates there because those axes hold enormous oil and gas potential. 1 Like |

Does anyone have update on this beautiful market built by a private investor during Okorocha administration? I believe it should be one of the most beautiful markets in Nigeria after the new Ariaria market. 2 Likes

In contrast Orlu is looking unkempt with heaps of sand on roads and demarcations along the newly built Owerrii road while the older roads done by Okorocha in 2012 are riddled with potholes and need rehabilitation. Unlike Owerri Tricycles and motorcycles persist as the major means of transportation in Orlu township. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxkPmp0hFxE?si=enwKvDFmvNji_ODJ 4 Likes |

Ttipsy: These idiots called Nigerian politicians should stop being stupid. There is no other place in the world where they still build roads with open gutters, except Nigeria and some other unfortunate West African countries. Gosh, the money these bastards steal is enough to cover all gutters and plant trees. 3 Likes |

Onyejerenima: Photos please. No fake ones. Some of us know every meter of the road. If Hope reconstructs that road now, and builds a big roundabout at Y-junction in place of the huge gate he demolished ... nicer. 1 Like |
