The-Phenom as he is foundly called was born Okoemu Akhuemhonkhan Barnabas, into the family of mr. M.E and mrs. V.I. Okoemu, on the 10th of febuary at about 09:05am some years ago in Ugun Emu a little village is Esan South East Local Government Area Ubiaja, Edo State, Nigeria-West Africa. As a destined child, The-Phenom was placed among five (5) siblings, four girls and a boy. Though he was born into a poly-gamus family, he hardly talked about his half brothers and sisters. The-Phenom attended the Usolo Primary School, Emu, there after he proceeded to the now default Light Light House College Emu, in 2005, after his JSS 3 examination, he proceeded to st. Andrew Catholic College Emu, upon the shut down of LHCE. Were he was expeal in 2007 following a report that he was involve in an act of drinking liquor in school with his class mate, but was later called back. In 2008, he sat for his WAEC and NECO examination which he passed successfully. That same year in august he sat for the Nigeria Polyteachnic JAMB exam, but unfortunately, he did not make it. Upon the advice of his father, he worked admission into the Edo State College of Education Igueben, were he studied political science/economics. In 2011, during the student week in the college, he wrote a play- “A PATH TO DESTRUCTION“ which was acted before the students. He directed it and he took part as an actor. He was actively involve in the school student politics. But later turn student activist; he criticized the student union government (SUG) in many a time. Most notable was his talk show during the 2011 student week. And some other face to face criticizm of the SUG president. However, The-Phenom became interested Rastafarian Movement in 2010, during his teaching practics days in st. John-Bosco college Ubiaja. After a church semon at st. Benedith catholic church Ubiaja by one rev. Fr. Mario who quoted Lucky Dube in the process of his preaching. Returning to the college after his teaching practics, a political philosophy tutor...
