I am a doctor, doing this to help a large community of Nairalanders find the specific specialist they need to see (if they really need to see one) as one of the attributes of a trained 5-star doctor. Feel free to lay your complaints and I will tell you and probably assist in locating a specialist around for you.
According to the medical ethics "beneficence" is what this is all about.

NB: I will not at any point mention specific names on this forum but that can be done on one-on-one basis.

Dr. Eford, thanks for an opportuunity like this.
Dr, i av been experiencing a slight hot sensation on my soles- more often on my right sole than on the left- for like 3-5 seconds, not with any pain though. I don't even knw if i shouldn't worry abt it at all. I'm 27 and very healthy.
The nature of my job demands that i stand (and walk around) most of the time at work, for that reason, i use a light convenient leather pair of shoes with padded landing. if it helps, i may add that i wear them for more than 14hrs a-week-day. since they are convenient and light, i dont any issue with that.
Dr, should it be a worry?

Sorry about the delayed response. What you just explained has different sides to it and requires an out-patient clinical examination and few investigations.
It could be as simple as the shoes u've worn over time; the in-sole of your shoes; the socks; your long period of standing or sitting; wet feet in shoes etc.
It could also be some minor nerve issues and other systemic problems manifesting in that way. You can make effort to see a Family Physician who will do some examinations of the foot and send for some test which may include your blood sugar test amongst others.
In all, its not sonething to worry so much about but getting to the root of the matter is important.
Please see a Family Physician for assistance. Thanks.
Feel free to ask anything not clear to you.

@Exord, thank you so much for the response. Well, honestly, the sensation feeling has stopped. I didn't when, but as i read your response, i realized I've not experienced the feeling recently. I changed socks. grin
I understand the need to be sure. I'll see a physician as soon as i can. I only hope it doesn't return (anymore) to speed up the 'soon'. wink
Thanks.

If changing the socks worked for you then you have nuffin to bother about. You can go see the physician when don't have a clue to how to stop the sensation. Happy for you.
