A 35-year-old man fled after he was caught raping a woman almost three times his age in Embu West district in Kenya. The elderly woman was reportedly ambushed by a man in her mud-walled house last weekend and sexually harassed by a sex starved pervert. The elderly woman is 100-years-old.

According to the woman’s grand-daughter, the man came looking for her brother, but was told the person he was looking for was not around and was ushered outside the compound.

However at the wee hours of the night, the family heard commotions in the elderly woman’s house which is just adjacent to the main house. When they went there, they found a man punding on their granny. They hit the pervert with a panga before the man took of into the darkness. The matter has been reported to the police.

Embu Deputy Police Boss confirmed the incident and said they are relying on the description given by the grand-daughter to search for the criminal.
Cases of rape have been on the rise in the country in the recent past.
