We in ondo north know d antecedents of Barr. Olusola Oke. He was d boss of osopadec nd nddc consecutively nd didnt do anything of note with it in d oil producing area of the state. So I can never trust him with his words any longer. PDP as a party will remain what dey re. Mimiko is still d man to beat,any day any time.

as far as 2nite's debate is concerned Oke is the man to beat, he was very diplomatic and did nt get himself involved in any direct attack which cn keep him off balance. Akeredolu dissapointed me, he was nt able to handle d attack of mimiko which eventually made him loose focus. BUT 4 DIS DEBATE, OKE IZ THE MAN (but d problem iz dat they don't hold on to there words)

i live in ondo and i know for sure that MIMIKO is a wolf in sheep clothing. Most of the things we see is 'make belief' the fraud going on in ondo is unprecedented.

Mimiko is just another blunt liar! He has so far in his 3yrs plus inflicted pains on the masses, He has neglected d youths of ondo states, The tertiary institutions in ondo state (AAUA & RUGIPO) are in a sorry state. With increasing fees and no infrastructure,
Lecturers going on strike consistently, and using our union leaders as sacrificial meat.

From an ECONOMIST point of view, The Uncompleted project of d dualisation of OWO is a waste of resources.
I have never for once experience traffic since I've been owo. So, y dualise d road when d people of owo are clamouring 4 industries?
Will his beautification/mega city project put food on the table of d masses?

IROKO HAS FAILED ONDO PEOPLE!

The time for a change is here, oct 20.olusola oke is the moses that can rescue ondo ppl 4rm the trend of slavery they are now.as 4 iroko he spent d last 3yrs painting and promising but keeps failing,no soln 2 unemployment since 3yrs nw, talk of scholarship nothing.the only fact which is clear is that the govt are getting richer while d masses are getting poorer!.ondo rise 4 change

When GEJ didn't turn up for debates with other contestants because he feels d station doesn't have wide coverage of d Nigerian masses we all cried foul with suggestions that he is incompetent, clueless etc and d one he attended in NTA was discredited because others didn't show up.

Now Barr Sola Oke has done well (confirmed by commentators here) and we re still not convinced with many argueing that sweet talk doesn't really put food on ppls table.


My question now is on what basis do we adjudge a candidate to be best suited for d job if we really don't have a specific criteria to access them. I think our politicians are far better than electorates themselves. That is to say if GEJ has put up a good debate, many nairalanders here would have still condemn it. Until we grow up above sentiments, we may never be able to choose d right politicians and move forward.

4 ur mind,mimiko is really working 4 d mass...when i say d mass,i mean those who are anticipating 4 gud governance since all dis yrs,those who can differentiate btw a gud and a bad governance in terms of comparism wit d previous ones....,nt those who are being paid/promised 2 b paid when dere imbecilic candidate got into office in order 2 perpetrate nd poisoned minds.....THE EFFICIENCY OF A MACHINE CANNOT BE 100% OKAY as u all knw.....though,mimiko may not be able to satisfy ondo state in evry ways but he had done a great job...634 project in 3 and a half yrs in all LGA's in d state,my brother no b smal tin o....we all knw dat one gud turn deserves anoda......ondo state pple are ready 2 go on a protest if mimiko gat less than 90% of d total vote cast kumin oct 20 cuz we can let some political vampires to suck our blood dry.....

The real voters are in the markets,garages,and beer-palour joints.
Go sample their opinions if you need to know how Ondo state people feel about Mimiko..
He is a shrewed,cunning and calculating politician and he is what we want.he is the man for the state..he has done the job remarkably well.
The noise-makers can hate forever...it won't change the fact that come October 20,Mimiko will remain!!!!

once again i must state that i stay and live in ondo state and will vote come october 20. Mimiko is in control of the fund of ALL 18 local governments since he ensured that they do not have chairmen, plus the huge allocation available to him aside his 4 billion naira security vote. In the history of ondo state he is the only governor with access to more funds than all the previous regimes and to whom much is given much is expected. If the government is bold enough to publish the COST of each 'project' most which are cosmetic MONUMENTAL FRAUD shall be revealed. I sincerely believe mimiko's 2nd term will be a mistake if allowed.

I think Mimiko has not performed badly, I lived and worked in Akure before relocating back to Lagos Sept 2010. Those saying Mimikos govt earn most in times of allocation when compared to previous govt have refused to also tell us dat cost of running governance was also more expensive in his regime than previous govt.Will d amnt a contractor will charge award of a 2km road now can never be d same like in previous govt. Things get expensive as d year goes by even in advance countries. Or is d same amount of money ur parents spent on you that your grand parents spaent on your parents education? We re wise people here in Nl and don't just come and be feeding us with propangada. If you think N4b is too much for security vote in Mimikos regime, post what previous allocation had let's do d comparative analysis with d realities on ground now and we ll able to judge then. NL full of too many propangada
