Some people say that the three elders have unwelcoming posture, especially the statue was placed at the entrance of the state. Some people even believe that the statue is the major causes of accidents that area where the statue stands as a result of spiritual element of the monument. The statue was burnt down in 2004 and was rebuilt by the Lagos state government. It was burnt down again in January during fuel subsidy crisis and was rebuilt thereafter. What are your stake on this statue. Does it signifies peace, welcoming visitors or the other way round
