It's one thing to know how to use it, it's anoda to be able 2 combat fire. The car in question might have a fire extinguisher which is now completely burnt.
To use, follow d PASS:
P: Pull d pin- the handle serves 2 purposes, 1stly, when d pin is intact, it helps to carry. 2ndly, when d pin is removed, it serves as a pulley
A: Aim at d base of d fire- the source of any burning fire is below while d flame burns above. So target d base always.
S: squeeze d handle. To extinguish, u make d pulley effective by discharging d content.
S: sweep from side 2 side- fire spreads fast. When u sweep side to side, u try cover an area which will not allow it expand BUT, ensure that u dont ignore d source before u exhausting d extinguishant. So cover area of source.

tolex29: Fire completely consumed a car at Awolowo road in front of OANDO filling station yesterday 3rd October 2012. Just few buildings to the Ikoyi Fire station, yet the fire station did not respond until the fire completely destroyed the car. E be like say dem no get water abi dem firemen never see fire quench for ages so dem nor dey prepared. No Single car on the road (including mine) had a fire extinguisher to help> (Well my own case be say i no sabi use the thing ..na just to show FRSC officers when dem ask me )
