Please, can anyone tell me step to take in repairing damaged or corrupt world document, (doc files). My operating system got corrupt, i had to format it, after which i used data recovery to recover some files, but i later discovered that, some files recovered, like doc, jpeg and others are no longer normal. When i double click on doc files, it shows something like 'Arabic'. Some does not open at all, instead, it gives error like content damage or corrupt. Any way out of this please. The files were typed with 2007 version.

You wanna repair your corrupt MS Word documents. Why don't you try MS Word repair function, it can repair your corrupt .doc files. Just do this: Open MS Word program, click on Office Button. Then click on Open, select the .doc file that you want to repair. There will be arrow on Open button. Just scroll it down. You'll get Open and Repair option. Click on it. It will repair corrupt .doc file and open it.
