kpogede77: Why bringing Itsekiri into this issue, no matter how u look at it the Igbos are still better than the Fulani people. There is no way Awo could have supported Biafra, even the mid west was against Biafra but that is bye gone. I am of the opinion that the northerners have bribed Achebe to create disunity in the south for them to continue to perpetuate themselves on the people of the south. Achebe is just being emotional as an old man , if we blow this issue too much it will give the book more relevance. He may have added some unfounded clause to arouse emotion to give the book relevance.
