A Retail Company in Port Harcourt is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities
•The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build Client’s brand.
•Develop a marketing plan that will aggressively pursue target market shares in the different areas of the economy.
•Prepare presentation materials outlining company’s ICT services and present to potential new accounts.
•Recommend continuous improvement initiatives for sales call plan and other sales strategies.
•Meet specified budget plan by improving sales call plan and increasing account base.
•Recommend action that ensure that all resources are focused on appropriate priorities to maximize.
•Ability to understand changing market dynamics and translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company marketing objectives.
•Input and analyze customer data; utilize data to recommend next steps for sales process.


Qualifications
•A bachelors’s degree with not below Second Class lower grade. A Masters Degree with specialisation in marketing will be an added advantage.
•4 – 8 years in marketing/sales/business development experience in an ICT company.
•3-5 years Experience in a similar position with ability to motivate and provide leadership to the marketing/sales team.
•Experience in building brand awareness and support.
•Effectively utilize sales-related information technology applications (PowerPoint, Excel/Word/Access).
