I read with trepidation the views shared by some Nairalanders that somehow the 4 young men that were lynched by an irate mob in Aluu deserved their fate because they were "cultists"

Since when did belonging to campus fraternity become a lynchable offence? You cannot lynch people simply because they belong to Mafia, , Eiye, buccaneers, Pyrates, Maphites, Vikings, KK, Amazons, Burkina Faso, Trojan horse, Black Berets, Jurist or a any of these groups by what ever name

Belonging to any of these groups is illegal in university and the punishment is expulsion and not death by a lynch mob.

It is the same lynch mob mentality we have in nigeria thats why people are killed in Jos simply because of their ethnicity. It is the same lynch mob mentality that is why one christian cartoons prophet mohammed and some muslims want to kill any christian in sight.
