THEY WERE FOUR...

They were just like you and I,

same dreams, same aspirations,

but cut short by an evil world

in the mould of an hostile community,

who would rather see them die

than live their dreams.

And while their parents were busy hustling,

These innocent kids were being,

hurled with stones, sticks & satchet water,

and led to the slab,

by a multitude.

most of whom were simply 'following the crowd'

who had gathered to watch a 'spectacle'

presented to them,

by barbarians from Aluu.

whose hearts have become black,

due to the wickedness in their veins.

how can they just kill them like that,

without respecting their right to live,

and right to be heard.

Imagine,

'young young' boys,

with sweet voice,

lovely hearts

and a bond so tight.

Who cried with one voice,

begged with one heart,

And with their voice drained,

by the noise from the crowd,

they watched helplessly,

as men clothed in animal skin,

danced, kicked, beat and

laughed at them at will,

eager to cut short their lives.

and with one strike,

that was all.

they are gone now.

but will there be peace for the wicked,

will Aluu ever know peace.

as its hands are stained with blood,

and ears filled with cries,

cries of these innocent souls.

who were murdered for nothing.

slaughtered in broad daylight,

and discarded like dirt.

will Aluu ever be the same again?

will there ever be 'light' in a town,

without a heart...
