Reports reaching me from my brother who school in the Abia state university has it that student are on rampage, protesting over the no-fee, no-exams policy of the school management. Their exams which is to start today has been postponed, students have been asked to vacate the hostels n school premisses before 6pm, soldiers have taken over the school and the school has been closed and the protest seems to be gaining grounds by the minute. Please can any ABSU student here confirm this report inorder for us to be sure because no media house is yet to cover the protest.

Yes! It is real truth. Education faculty students started it aroud morning hours n soon the whole school joined. Our sch securities tend to release fire on us but we did not slack back. Every body is supporting our act even the military. The only tin is dat agry students became more violent. Pls can some1 talk to Abia State govt! Hw can we be denied Exams? Even degree Exams! Iwe Iwe!!!
