Despite leaving the premier league for china, Super Eagles striker is still a jewel in the EPL history. The former blackburn hitman who scored 17 goals last season been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Year Award at the 2012 Northwest Football Awards. He will be up against Vincent Kompany, Martin Skrtel, John Heitinga, Gary Caldwell, Antonio Valencia and Adam Bogdan.
