WASHINGTON - A study by two nonprofit journalism organizations found that President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks.


The study concluded that the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."

The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.

White House spokesman Scott Stanzel did not comment on the merits of the study Tuesday night but reiterated the administration's position that the world community viewed Iraq's leader, Saddam Hussein, as a threat

The statement above na my own ooo, just realized my neighbour while using my laptop last night signed in with his username without informing me.

George Bush came to throne with the mandate to succeed where his father failed ie IRAQ

So he went about the war as a personal vendatta again Saddam

all the stories is just giving a dog a bad so as to hang it,
that is not to say that am in support of Saddam
but Bush did the worst by staking the lives of innocent american marines and murdering thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians

Most charges of US and bush bashing levelled against you have been in response to some of your more unfounded, vitriolic posts vilifying the US incessantly. I do not believe the invasion of Iraq was justified, but i'm not dumb enough to suddenly give credence to any half-assed conspiracy theorist story because of that.

Na today? We have been through this road before and the facts on ground supported those that objected to all manner of bad policies, hypocrisy and sycophancy of the West especially the USA.

So a study funded by George Soros "discovered" false statements by Bush.The results of the "study" were pre-determined as soon as Soro started signing the cheques.
