chucky234: Seem BH still have their leadership intact, every week we are inform of JTF killing one BH leader or another yet the sect leader seem unaffected.
Its either JTF has been telling us lies or they have been killing ghosts all along, few days ago JTF announced the arrest of a strong BH member in a senator's house yet nothing has since been heard of them or the sect members arrested in the last few months.
Something is not right with our govt, this BH is a bigger problem than we give them credit for.

osama bin laden has been killed and so has so many al-queda senior memebers but has al-queda stopped existing? this is the same thing with boko haram. its a multi-headed hydra monster like cancer.

WE ALL KNOW THAT BOKO HARAM IS FUNDED WITH TAX PAYERS MONEY. WHEN A SENATOR IS HABOURING A LEADER OF THE SECT, IT IS CLEAR THAT BOKO HARAM IS A TOOL IN THE HANDS OF NORTHERN POLITICIANS. I THINK IF NIGERIA KEEPS WAITING ON GEJ, THIS SECT WILL CAUSE MORE HARM THAN WE CAN IMAGINE.

ITS TIME NIGERIA STAND UP FOR JUSTICE, AND DEMAND THAT THIS SENATOR BE SENTENCED TO DEATH ALONG WITH OTHER SECT MEMBERS. LOOK AT FARROUK, LOOK AT OTEDOLLAR AND THE OTHER POLITICIANS WHO MAKE NIGERIANS CRY DAILY. YET THE FG TURNS A BLIND EYE. I CANT BELIEVE THAT SOMEONE IN GEJS CABINET IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF THOUSANDS OF NIGERIANS, AND THE PRESIDENT WILL STILL SIT NEXT TO HIM IN A MEETING .

Boko Haram began their activities as far back as 2002, but went unnoticed untill when the Government Forces violently cracked down on them. Ever since then, they've gone international. It's sill on record that prior to violent crack down, they've not been using sophisticated weapons and technology. As soon as they were internationally noticed, they were being supplied with the same level of sophistication with the Taliban and Al-Qaida Terror Networks. Going by the Government intelligent reports, one of their sources of weponry, is in Northern Cameroon. Note that Cameroon is not known to habour major Terror Networks before, why then should the same Country be the safe haven the source of tech supply to terror Network the like of Boko Haram? Their is a missing link! You will agree with me that the French Government has firm grip on all the Francophone Countries through the monetary control and the likes. Given the massive presence of French Special Forces and intelligent Operatives in Francophone Countries, the passage of ammo cache,IEDs and Vest-Riedden-Bomb technical know how to Boko Haram cannot go unnoticed and perhaps supervised by these French intelligent operatives. More so, who's responsible for the shipement of these technologies bieng used by Alqaeda splinter Terror groups to Cameroon in the first instance before being passed on to the BH, NOT BE USED IN CAMEROON BUT IN NIEBHOURING NIGERIA? Atrocious murdering of the Cameroonian Mayor on Nigerian soil may not be unconnected to this. This is perhaps the reason why the Government is reluctant to take on to the Finaniciers of the BH and the Bakassi Peninsular issues!
RIP to the dead Mayor.

We're in war with ourselves. The Nigeria government should do something very soon before this cancer eats our country to a point of no return. The government should try an eradicate all these local vigilante and secret terrorist groups withing ourselves. Groups like the Niger Delta Militants in the Niger Delta area, Oduduwa people congress in the south west, secret bakassi vigilante still left in the east and the worst of them the BokoHaram group. If these so called group continue to operate and terrorise the Nigerian population, there would never be peace and security and one day the people would get tired and call for division. We don't want a divided Nigeria.

Some of them come here to gloat, Bakasi, Bakasi, Bakasi, they glory in our misfortune, Africans have proven to be a shameful jealous lot. If not stopped, Boko will spread throughout Nigeria, all over west Africa and beyond,it is only a matter of time, confidence and the ambition of their international sponsors. They (Boko) will be pretending soon that it is their intention to carve an Islamic African Empire out of Northern Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger, Chad, down to Sudan Somalia, Eritrea etc...

Sad news. Those saying Cameroon should commit the suicide of invading any part of Naija, really really hate Cameroon.

When will Southern Nigeria ever stand up to the North? We're ahead of them by a million miles. The Northerners pray that the yoruba and & Igbos never become one. That's their main nightmare. They know it would be over for them!

its only a militarily superior country that can invade another eg Isreal vs Palestine, USA vs Iraq, Iraq vs Kuwait, Kenya/Ethiopia vs Somalia etc and not a banana rep like Cameroun to invade any part of Nigeria, that would be seen as an act of war and Cameroun will meet their waterloo, even with the distraction of BH, forget about their usurpation of Bakassi, its all international politrics with vested interest of some selfish Nigerians, Nigeria has all it takes to reclaim Bakassi if it really wants to do so.

You equally answered your question, yes the day Igbos and Yorubas unite and forge a common front is the day Hausa/Fulani hegemonic and debilitating misrule of Nigeria will come to an end. It is so annoying and frustrating that a laid-back people with clownish and destructive tendencies whilst contributing next to nothing to the development of Nigeria, have continued to lord it over the progressives. Now is the time to correct malfeances the Hausa/Fulani bequited on Nigeria through the military. The SW, SS and NC must support the SE in their quest for an extra to help correct the imbalance and at same time resist any reduction in derivation accrueing to the Oil producing states.

Yomieluv: Nigeria on the brim of war with cameroun..

if something isnt done, bokoharam will continue to embarrass Nigeria.

first to comment.

That isnt what the story is talking about. Did you read the last paragraph which says the chief Imam in cameroon fears that Boko haram also has a large cameroonian following
Re: Boko Haram Kills Cameroon Mayor by odoguigbo: 1:28pm On Oct 22, 2012
gowon conceded Bakassi to cameroun to promot a defensive wall. cameroun accepted the devilish offer because they hated BIAFRA big time (simple truth). both uncircumcised muda4fucka teamed to annihilate the GREAT BIAFRA (proved reality). now bush meat don catch hunter. the same aboki dealing with cameroun, lolz.. next target will be Yoruba and their adulterous obas. NEMESIS!

Pointless anyone trying to point us in the direction of tribalism for the purpose of divide and rule. It aint going to blind us forever from seeing that Cameroon is a puppet of France and that we need to make contingency plans for going to war sooner or later. From Vietnam to Rwanda to Congo the French lurk.
