Eleven women were clinging precariously to a wildly
swinging rope suspended from a crumbling outcropping
on Mount Everest. Ten were YORUBA, one was a IBO.

As a group they decided that one of the party should let go.
If that didn't happen the rope would break and everyone would perish.

For an agonizing few moments no one volunteered.

Finally the IBO gave a truly touching speech saying she would
sacrifice herself to save the lives of the others.
All the YORUBAS started clapping their hands.

One day, a YORUBA LADY''S neighbor goes over to her house, sees her crying, and asks her what happened. The lady said that her mother had passed away. The neighbor made her some tea and calmed her down a little and then left. The next day the neighbor went back over to the house and found the lady crying again. She asked her why she was crying this time.

''I just got off of the phone with my twin sister, her mother died too!''
