Firstly, both re nt d same. Infinity is a crossover more of an suv while avalon is a sedan. Both re classy and nice cars but i 'll choose d avalon cos i love it more.

I would recommed the Toyota Avalon to you just because it is a toyota, the part are everywhere and easier to maintain. Toyota's hardly give u any problem if they are flooded vehicle or accidented. the Infinti FX35 is also good but parts are more expensive and parts are not readily available at every part shop.
Also on reselling, a nigerian used toyota avalon can be easily abosorbed back in the car market than an infiniti.

Why don't u go drive both of them and see which u prefer. It's all about the driving experience . And pls, don't buy cars based on what u gona sell it later for. Enjoy the car . It's yours, u worked hard for the money .
Honestly, I won't buy the Avalon, nothing screams old age like Avalon, it's boring, no feedback, a car from point A to B.
Fx 35 is more like it. Nothing like that VQ engine. Wards top 10 engine list 15 years in a row.
It depends on what u like to drive , A car from point A to B, locked away from the outside world or something that would make you grin from ear to ear, bring that youthful exuberance back to you.

both are not the same type of cars, it depends on what you want as someone said earlier, one is a crossover, the other a full sized sedan. Different drivetrains, one is betterr on rough terrain the other isnt. Make a list of a number of differences by looking at the qualities and features of both. Look through car review websites etc. If i have to go with any, i'd take the fx35 for its size and power...

Im new to this form but i i have 10 years of new and pre-owned car sales experience in Houston Texas,i work for a dealership and buy frm the auction and sell.You will be better off with the toyota, everything about Infinity is expensive cos its a Luxury car but i luv Infinity,the handling is superb.
