For those who are yet to get familiar with the BEFFTA Awards, it is an awards ceremony which honours the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA, Africa, Caribbean, Canada and globally by rewarding under one roof outstanding achievements and contributions from Africans, Caribbeans and Asians in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.

The 4th edition of the annual BEFFTA awards UK took place in London yesterday, the 27th of October, at The Hippodrome and director Obi Emelonye seems to be the man of the hour as he managed to snag the award for best director while his movie ‘Last Flight To Abuja‘ was awarded Best Movie.
