Duties:
Maintaining and improving internal back office software and related systems under guidance from Senior Software Developers and Team Leader.
Ensuring that maintenance, improvements and actions on live servers do not introduce new software defects or affect the business negatively.
Implementing solutions for functional and technical specification documents as provided by Business Analysts.

The Candidate
Solid understanding of Microsoft .NET platform and Framework, working knowledge of web services and messaging architectures.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years’ experience in software development, including 3 years’ experience with MS SQL servers, C#, ASP.NET and be able to demonstrate the following:
Minimum 2 years’ experience with HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, XML, JQuery
Minimum 1 year experience with WCF/MVC/LINQ
Minimum 6 months experience with NServiceBus
Minimum 1 years’ experience of Agile programming methodologies
Experience with test-driven development and the use of N-Unit
Knowledge of Object-Oriented design principles
Knowledge of development methodologies, including Agile methodologies
Multi-tasking time management for new development and on-going support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL will be an advantage

Position: Software Engineer in Test [Web/Mobile]

The Role
The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in QA within enterprise web and mobile development. The candidate will be naturally able to dig into business requirements, and shall be experienced in giving early feedback on QA estimates and progress. The candidate will also be a good communicator, and possess a pro-active attitude and precise analytical skills. The candidate must be able to work under pressure, against tight deadlines, and will need to balance pragmatic decision making with innovative thinking for intelligent solutions.

Reporting to the Head of IT, responsibilities will include:
Helping build and maintain intelligent QA solutions for one of the fastest growing IT companies in the world.
Excellent understanding of mobile technology platforms and associated frameworks and testing tools.
Playing an active role within the company’s continuous improvement processes.
Work seamlessly within a large distributed team, across multiple sites.
Working in Agile Lean environment, assisting in the move toward Continuous Integration and Deployment.
Keeping a constant eye on changing industry ideas and practices, and monitoring emerging technologies.

The Candidate
Core Skills:
The candidate will be a team player, who has extensive experience in testing PHP based web infrastructures, and shall be extremely proficient at developing automated testing scripts with Selenium.

The candidate will have proven experience with web technologies, web services, SQL (MSSQL), and be comfortable with cross browser and cross platform exploratory and white box testing.

Any knowledge of .NET stack (ASP.NET, C#, IIS) would be a very large benefit. Some experience with performance and security testing would also be a big advantage.

All round Software Test Engineer with 2 – 4 years experience.
