Job Title: Sales Officer

Locations: Yenagoa, Portharcourt, Abuja, Benin, Asaba, Calabar, Awka, Ilorin, Enugu, Warri, Lagos, Ibadan & Uyo

Job Summary:

o Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products.
o Personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers.
Core Functions:

o Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
o Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

Job Responsibilities

o Prospecting for new and existing customers for business opportunities, ensuring that personal and team sales goals are met and exceeded.
o Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
o Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
o Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products.
o Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the assigned segment.
o Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
o Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
o Participates in trade shows and conventions.

Qualifications

o Bsc/HND in any discipline, 2.1 above.
o Only candidates that finished their youth service on Thursday, October 18, 2012 are qualified to apply
o Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
o Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
o Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Position & Location should be used in the email “subject” field for a preferred location i.e., Sales Officer-Portharcourt.
o Must not be more than 28 years of age at next birthday.
