I notice whenever i eat boiled Yam, Pounded Yam or Amala I get so so hungry in just about 3 hours.
I understand my body digests yam foods so quickly that i start shaking uncontrollably if i don't find something else to eat soon. I have stopped feeding on these foods whenever i am going out of my house and My friends find it so odd and funny.

So, i want to ask, what's really the problem? Does it happen to other people or is it just me?

those are extremely heavy meals you mentioned. I suppose your stomach is producing more digestive enzymes than required to breakdown the foods. Those enzymes are acidic btw, could be the reason for your hunger pangs. I suggest you eat smaller portions of those foods you listed to see if the effect is the same.
