The seat of the caliphate has been thrown into darkness since on Friday 2 nov 20012 as a result of electricity workers union decision to shut down power supply to Sokoto. The union gave the state gov an altimatum which ends on friday 2 nov ,to appologise to the phcn officials the sokoto state governor alegedly flogged for failure to ensure constant power supply to wamako the governor's town ,despite the huge amount given out for this project.
