I am a Nigerian living in UK. I just wanted to know you guys opinion on the Skyebank share offer. Is it worth it or not? Is the bank financially sound? Your input is appreciated.

Skye bank is great and I think their shares is one of the best in the stock market. They have been on the increasing level with corporate and government services.

I just bought some thousand units days ago and I was cool with it. One of the reasons I bought their shares is because they have this collaboration with Lagos state government with government worker's payment, so they are growing stronger and stronger. I will advice anyone interested to go for that.

The price is N14/Unit and the minimum unit is 1000.

Skye bank is a good offer only because all banks in this country are making crazy profits, including skye bank.

However the problem you will have will be this oversubscription thing and so a larger % of your money will be returned to you as unalotted.

I will advice you thread with caution. There is a banana skin lying on the public offer floors.
