Nairaland / General / RE: LIBERTY RESERVE AND ONLINE SCAM!!! by 10KNews: 5:28pm On Jan 08, 2013
TOP SECRETS ON HOW TO BUY/FUND/EXCHANGE LIBERTY RESERVE IN NIGERIA TO AVOID BEING SCAMMED!

When buying liberty reserve, it is your duty to do a thorough investigation before parting with your hard earned money. There are several companies that claim to buy and sell liberty reserve in Nigeria. How do you know which is genuine and which is not? Here are the security factors to consider before buying liberty reserve from anyone:

NO OF YEARS OF BEING IN BUSINESS
The older the wine as they say, the sweeter. How long an exchange company has been in business has a lot to say about their reliability. Being in business for two years and above is a clear indication that the business is consistently serving her customers. However, some businesses are already in business prior to getting a website. To find out, you can call the company’s phone number and verify from the staff how long their company has been in existence.

VISIBLE CONTACT ADDRESS
Every online business you know are being regulated by individuals like you and I. You must have to get response from such individuals either by email or phone (preferably phone call). Also you must see a viable contact address on their website before dealing with them. Apart from their office address being on the website, you can systematically find out if their office address does really exist. You would do that by calling their phone number asking if you can come over to their office to make payment. If their answer is No, please watch out.

PAY TO COMPANY ACCOUNT
Banks to a large extent verify all corporate account holders before allowing them open account with them. That means it is safer to pay to corporate account name instead to personal bank account.
START SMALL
You may have to try out a liberty reserve exchange company by first of all buying small amount of liberty reserve from them. If your account is funded as promised, then go for the bigger amounts.

PRICE COMPARISON
One of the easiest ways people fall prey to online scammers is by responding to extremely low priced items. When you see a merchant offering liberty reserve at a price far lower than what other exchangers do offer, watch out. The aim could be to attract as many people as possible to make payment into fake accounts.

OUR RECOMMENDED NIGERIA EXCHANGERS
We’re reviewed several exchange websites in Nigeria, and have so far discovered some good ones. For now, the website we highly recommend is www.directmoni.com. They met the whole requirements that suit our standard.

Nairaland / General / Foreigners Rule Our Oil Trade!!! Capt. Niyi Labinjo by 10KNews: 3:50pm On Jan 07, 2013
The General Secretary of the Indigenous Ship-owners Association of Nigeria (ISAN), Captain Niyi Labinjo, said that only 60 of the 600 vessels in the upstream oil sector are owned by indigenous operators. He said that a vessel on offshore operations makes a minimum of $5,000 daily. This, according to him, is the least amount made by a foreign vessel doing business in the nation. As a result, of lack of indigenous ships, he said, the country loses about N2 trillion yearly.

"We have plenty of hydrocarbons. As a result, it is 37 billion barrels, but our government is working towards making it 40 billion barrels. That is our proven reserve. We are said to be the 10th world producer of oil. The world uses 84 million barrels per day of oil and Nigeria produces 2.5 million barrels every day. For gas, we have 24 trillion reserves. We have the best shrimps in the world called tiger shrimps.

That is why you have many Indian fishing companies in Nigeria. All the tiger shrimps are exported. We import into Nigeria every five metric tons of cargo and 100 million metric tons of goods. We also import 65 million litres of petroleum products every year. In the oil and gas industry, Nigeria has about 500 oil wells. For each well, there is a rig, which is supported by a minimum of five ships, and they are called oil support vessels". He finally said that a foreign ship earns $5,000, while others earn $150,000

Koko Concert: Hauwa Gambo’s 7 reasons D’banj should be very proud of himself

So, the way you’ve heard it told on our famously ‘follow-follow’ social media space, Dbanj’s 2012 Koko Concert, held on Thursday, December 27 was a huge flop, right? And he has done the wise thing and apologised. Well, apart from the fact that yes indeed he needs to get a full refund from Idris “I-am-not-even-a-real-star-yet” Elba, I have seven reasons why you might want to think again…

1. Did you see the crowds?!?!? No seriously. This fact is obscured by all the giddily negative chatter, but what people forget is that thousands of Nigerians stood up to support this man D’banj who many claimed had lost his touch with Nigerians. Oh no he hasn’t. Nigerians showed the young man one fact on Friday – and that is the fact that he’s still got much love. Now it’s up to him to keep the fire burning or to lose his magic.

2. Eko Atlantic as a concert venue was a bold decision – flipping the middle finger to the exorbitant and unnecessary Eko Hotel venue – and he gets props for blazing a trail I am almost certain many will soon follow. D’banj has always been a big – make that huge – risk-taker. No matter what anyone says about the venue (you can’t blame him please biko – it’s not as if he hid the venue, it was right the on the promos), after the trek was done, it was an excellent choice for a concert. Now, Lagos State government, can you please do your work and make it easier to get there?

3. If you had any doubts that D’banj is now surely an international star – well, there he was pulling around town in an Aston Martin – with Big Sean and exchanging high-fives with the rest. This wasn’t a Nigerian act being called upon to perform at a random concert with foreign acts – this was a Nigerian superstar able, on his own, to get international acts to pall around with him at his own concert, as his own friends, on his own terms.

4. Now those who know these things, know that the managing director of GTBank (the event’s sponsor) loves D’banj like his own son. But still, the man’s sitting down there in the crowd singing along to D’banj’s legendarily nonsensical beats, alongside other corporate executives in finance, oil and gas and everywhere else. D’banj has built an attractive brand that cuts across all segments of society. This concert confirmed that.

5. Sadly, this fact was lost again – but this is the first time a concert in Nigeria has been live-streamed with the quality witnessed via Ndani. Clear and uninterrupted broadcast where the audience on television felt as close to the action as the people who sat down in the crowd. It was another first – and Daniel Anderson did it first.

6. Let’s take a minute and pause on what the fact that D’banj trended on Twitter like a multiple orgasm means… Yeah, at least by sheer talk ability, I am sure we are all reminded that Dapo Oyebanjo is officially Nigeria’s most important artiste, at this time, as I write. That’s the Koko.

7. No Psquare, no Wizkid (not on stage at least), no Mavin, no Asa, no packing the entire Nigerian entertainment industry into one venue like Rhythm Unplugged, and for good measure no Chris Brown, and yet in terms of everything there is – performances, crowds, media, social network buzz, celebrity attendance, high profile – thus was by the far the biggest concert Nigerian has seen this year, and it was by a Nigerian below the age of 30.

Well done, D’banj, well done. Oh, by the way, the people will be back next year. You can take that to GTBank.

Kikiowo Ileowo: My Cross With D’Banj

In loving memory of those who died during the Occupy Nigeria protest between the 2nd and 13th of January 2012.

Contrary to the notion you probably have of the title of this piece, the aim of this write-up is not to analyse D’Banj’s singing prowess, neither is it to debate his somewhat nose-diving music career recently resuscitated by the much-hyped Koko Concert 2012.

I have followed D’Banj’s music career from its rise till date. Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, had a humble beginning. He moved from one Nigerian military barrack to the other before relocating to England, failing to follow in his father’s footstep as a military man. Fate shot him into limelight, shortly after leaving 419 & JJC squad to form the now-defunct Mo’Hits record label with erstwhile business partner, Micheal Collins, popularly known as Don Jazzy.

D’Banj, in collaboration with Don Jazzy, released hit songs from their first album, No Long Thing in 2005, which had the hit track, Tongolo, on it. They subsequently released ‘Run Down’ in 2006, which had hit tracks such as Funk U Up, Why Me, Tongolo Remix. In the years 2007 and 2008, he released Curriculum Vitae and The Entertainer respectively. Oh, who could forget those melodious tunes like Gbono Feli Feli, Olorun Maje, Kimon, and the others? D’Banj is an entertainer, a good, one with lots of energy, but he is a typical example of everything wrong with Nigeria.

Hold it; don’t haul your stones yet. I was once a fan like you; in fact a loyal one, but now, you can remove the prefix ‘loyal’. I think too much money and stardom got into the Koko master’s head and regrettably, he lost it completely. His journey into the abyss started when he turned himself to Jonathan’s scapegoat, and went ahead to remix that beautiful tune ‘Scapegoat’ in support of the same.

Having seen the Dr’s cluelessness in office for about one year before the 2011 elections, I knew without an iota of doubt that nothing could come out of Jonathan’s ‘Nazareth’. During D’Banj’s ill-fated interview with the ‘PhD’ holder, he failed to ask why he wouldn’t hold a live televised debate with other candidates. He simply played the script so well, an action which, as some rumoured, fetched him an oil well.

As pardonable as that goof was, D’Banj iced his cake with idiocy by standing aloof during the Occupy Nigeria protest. Anyway, he couldn’t have voiced his support for the oppressed because his tent was and is pitched with the oppressors. He wines and dines with the sons of Allison-Madueke, the corrupt ‘witch’ overseeing the oil industry. It’s commendable that he has made millions in the entertainment industry, but by taking sides with those flying in jets all over the world, using Nigeria’s commonwealth which they stole, he lost me as a fan. During the protest, He claimed he was tucked away in London, working on his new song; I am sure the song he was working on is the flopped ‘Oyato’.

“D’Banj, how come you were so unattached to the suffering of your fellow citizens? Anyway, we all know that was a lie you concocted to save face.” In a somewhat surprising move though, D’Banj’s erstwhile partner, Don Jazzy, tweeted quoting he regrets supporting Otedollar’s friend for the presidency, but D’Banj kept mute, and went ahead to insult the collective psyche of his remaining fans on Thursday, 27th December, 2012, at his Koko Concert by asking them to apologise to the rich because they ‘sponsored’ the show…

I must confess, it is a rare talent you have; insulting your fans, yet smiling to the bank at the same time (apologies to Omojuwa). My cross with D’Banj is the oppressive mentality he possesses, considering his humble beginning at the military barracks he grew up. He has simply shown, through his remarks at the Koko Concert, that he is one and the same as his mentors like Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Allison-Madueke, Otedollar, and others who daily inflict torture on Nigerians, they simply loot them dry, and then say “I don’t give a damn.”

Can Mr Oyebanjo tell us one thing his Koko Foundation for Youth and Peace Development has achieved? D’Banj is only a UN Youth Ambassador for Peace for publicity sake. All the same, it is not his fault; I only blame some Nigerians who celebrate mediocrity daily. It is the fault of every sycophant around him who has decided to side with the idiocy he represents. The only way out of this quagmire is for D’Banj to change all he symbolises, and start using his ‘stardom’ positively, else he would end up where he began.

D’Banj can start by stepping up the activities of his foundation, and also start conducting himself like a peace ambassador he was selected to be. In the same vein, all entertaining artistes who owe their ‘stardom’ to the Nigerian masses should come out and identify with them like many did during the Occupy Nigeria protest, or else they would have no guaranteed place in the New Nigeria.

///////////////////////////////////

The costliest place to live in, in Nigeria now apart from Abuja, is Lagos state. Based on the history of the past, we were made to know that it used not to be so. We even heard that there were times in the past, when people were winning houses in Lagos state, irrespective of your tribe. I can attest to that because my uncles won houses in Akerele and another in Festac town and these uncles of mine were Igbos. Till this present that I write this, those houses still belonged to them.

At that time, things were easier and life was beautiful. It was so beautiful you can decide to pack out of the present place you are living or doing your business and move to another one in another location with ease, without the fear of the exorbitant amount of money you will be paying to landlords and agents, as house rents, agent and agreement frees and all those shits they are using now to defraud innocent and stranded persons. My uncle said that before, these were not so as everything was orderly and as much as stressing Lagos has always been, you can still secure an accommodation in the places you desire, so long as you can afford it.

At that time, there were not even many opened estates as you have them now. So it is either you are living in Festac or Ikoyi or Victoria Island or Amukoko, or Surulere, or orile, you know, these places are limited yet, you can always find a place to live within a limited time that you might desire to move from your present location to another of your choice. But now, “you no fit try am”.

Now people don’t move, not because they don’t want to, but because when you think about the huge amount of money you are going to pay out as house rent, agent and agreement fees, the heat it will generate in your groin will tell you to sit down and do something better with your money or your life. Or better still, you can please move into the developing areas of Lagos and go and form local big boy there. And if you are passing through this kind of problem presently, do not blame it on the Yorubas who own most of these houses, but rather blame it on the Igbos. You will have to vent your spleen on the Igbos…na dem spoil Lagos Landlords…Sorry, na we spoil Lagos Landlords. After all I am one of us. Why do I say this? I will tell you.

My uncle said that before, it was not so. It was not hard to secure a new place and even when you are moving into a new location and your money is not complete, the Landlord of the new place you are moving into, will allow you to pack in and within the first two or three months, you can pay the balance. Then, it was only one year house rent and nothing more than that.

Then all of a sudden! We entered into a time when some first set of “Nwa-boys” has finished serving their “Ogas” and they have been settled with money…more money than they expected. Most of them rushed straight away and bought cars and rented flats so they can be as large as their masters and be on equal levels. By that time, if they house rent were N100, they will tell the Landlord that they want the house by all means and that they are willing to pay N150 so that you can refund the first N100 to the other tenant who was the first to pay for it.

Initially the Yoruba Landlords were not willing to accept it as they see such as abnormal, but after a while, people began to look at these modest and honest Landlords as fools. So they changed and they started accepting it. The housing business began to boom and so renting & leasing cost skyrocketed. Slowly and slowly, agent fees crept in and finally, agreement fees followed. But the charges was still on the moderate side even when people were beginning to complain that it was abnormal.

The last straw that brought the Lagos house rent over-blown saga came when the “Yahoo-Yahoo” Igbos too began to “hammer”. Remember the Igbos were not the first Yahoo guys to hammer o. The Yorubas had long, long time made money from “Yahoo-Yahoo” and coded the whole stuff and opened companies with their proceeds and kept quite and no one heard anything from anyone. No noise, no boasting at beer parlours, no convoys! Please bear with me…I am not glorifying yahoo-yahoo. I am only telling a story.

But when we the Igbos hammered…wow! Na another stupid things enter the matter. It affected nearly everything in the life of everyone in Lagos. The yahoo-yahoo Igbos where the first set of people to pay for house rents 5years to 10years in advance. Wow! The Yorubas were like “kini ele yi” (na wetin be this). Lots of Igbo yahoo-yahoo guys were competing with “Nwa-boys” who will pay more in advance to Landlords in Lagos that after a while it became the norm. If you then go to a landlord in Lagos, and offer him a one year rent…he will tell you “orie da fue” or “Orie Oda a”. Your head is not correct or it will not be well with you. (I might not be correct with the wordings).

As the more in house payment advance money continued, so also did the rent continue to get higher. So it was no longer just you having to pay in advance, you will have to pay higher too. Till this present time, this finally became the norm. The painful part of this all is that, sometimes a very humble Igbo boy with limited resources will pay for a shop or house rent, another fellow Igbo boy will go behind his back and offer a higher price to the owner of the house and not only that, he will also pay more too in advance, like 3 to 6years in advance. It was terrible!!! Cases of these abounds from mandillas, to idumota. From idumagbo to trade fair, from alaba international to suru-alaba. Its same one igbo guy stabbing another in the back so he can take over his business place or pay more for the rent the other has already paid for.

And the Yorubas were building more houses with these Igbo men’s stupidity. Not only that, one Igbo man will buy a Land, and four to five other Igbos will go behind his back and offer 10 times the amount he is paying for it and this affected the land costs in Lagos state too. This so went bad that you will hear of 8 igbos guys fighting each other because 8 of them had paid for just one same plot of land to a yoruba man and be killing themselves while the seller rakes in millions 10 times for the price of just of piece of land. We try for mumu, no be small.

The Lagos state government tried to curb this madness last year when it introduced one year payment, but the other part of it they could not change or curb is the high cost of same rent. This became a tetrahedral wahala that could not be controlled and now we are entering into a new sphere that is very scary and alarming as the housing issues is forcefully out of the control of the state government and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The Landlords are now charging you One year house rent to an equivalence of what they used to collect in all for three years. That is to say. Now a flat in surulere now goes for N450,000 to N600,000 a year which used to be N150,000 or N200,000 a year because they have been forced to collect only one year. So what they used to charge you for three years, they now charge you same for one year. E gud no be small…

So when next you are complaining of house rent in lagos and the increase of it and the high cost of it and you are an igbo guy like me blaming it on yoruba Landlord, make that your mouth just shut up and check the history of the house rent increment! Our greediness reflects in everything we do.

How many housa men in Lagos are paying N600,000 a year in that same area you are living where you are paying that much….may not more than one or two persons and if you check it, the housa guy is either tied to the government purse or his is a full time money ex-changer with over 1000 boys working for him.

How many Yoruba men are paying N600,000 a year in that same area you are living where you are paying that same much…the answer is ONE or NONE. The rest have gone to Shibiri or Ilogbo to buy land to build their own houses which they also are expecting to rent to another Igbo Boy who will help him pay the money to complete the upstairs of the house. So if you are an igbo man like me and you are reading this and causing Yoruba Landlord….if I hear fim, you go hear wi !!!

Jubenz: Good you quoted the Amaricans at the end of your pitious article...
I am appailed to how close you came to loosing your life. Thank God its the Yorubas, just saying... Imagine if you were at the north. Ol'boy!!!

Americans will also instruct you to always give thieves what they want, then and there, as long as it does not include your life. Is your wrist watch, pocket change, BB, gold chain, or even wads of cash in your possession enough to make your wife a widow, your kids orphans and you yourself a dead man? God was not with you there, you were just lucky.

@Jubenz:

We think you have a very good point... (please this is our opinion on it, it might be wrong), but we think @Jubenz is very right. if you find out the thieves have guns, men are you trying to be a super human or what? (Please reader, our opinion does not count). the most important thing is that he came out alive to tell the story, so we do not have a right to tell him how he would have acted, but for me, i will not fight with a man with a gun.

This story we are going to post here was sent to us by one of our readers. It is not edited. we posted it on our blog just as it was sent and we felt, we can also post it here. excerpts:-

///////////////////////////////////
It was on a sunday morning and I was going to church. All dressed up and the day was bright. My church is in oshodi and I live at Maza-Maza area close to Festac. This is not a religious fact or prove of God's power, but some persons will want me to still thank God for being alive to narrate this story.

So, off I go. Bided my family “bye bye” and I left. From Maza-Maza, I waited for bus going to Oshodi direct. When I couldn’t find and the time was was running against me because the service starts by 9am. So I decided to move forward a little bit towards Mile 2 and took a bike that will stop me on “top bridge”. When I got there, there were precisely four danfo buses “loading”, so I entered the one at the front. Very clean looking bus.

FIRST MISTAKE: Without looking or scrutinizing the persons in the bus, I just entered like that with no suspicions on my mind. When I was about to enter, the guy sitting close to the door, moved his legs so I could pass and go in, I did that without thinking anything about it. After all, it was a normal thing for people to not want to move into the bus and prefer to sit close to the door and since he was there before I came, I made nothing out of it. We were three passengers inside the bus. So if I have to include the bus-conductor and the driver that will make it up all five persons. After I entered, the bus started moving.

I was surprised and I told the driver. “ol boy why are you moving na, your bus is not yet filled up and there are passengers. Why can’t you just wait a little bit and fill the bus up”. But he didn’t answer me and he started driving off… That was when it dawn on me say wahala don land. “Monkey don go market…whether this one go return na another matter”

What happened next happened so fast…so so fast! I just noticed that the bus-conductor gave the guy next to me a signal and he started pushing me inside. Then it dawned on me that I have entered a “once chance” bus. For the benefit of those of you who will read this, “one chance” is a local slang in Lagos which is used to describe robbers who uses public buses to rob innocent and unsuspecting passengers.

By then the bus was speeding off. So I asked myself, what will I do now? I decided that I will rather die inside this bus with these guys than be killed for nothing. Let it be in my record that I fought for my live than let these guys rob me or use me for rituals. So my first target was the bus conductor. As soon as he tried to close the door, I sprang on him and pushed him off the bus. My speed of light action took all of them by surprise. As he went down, so also I tried to jump off with him too, but the next guy to me held me back and was trying to keep me in the bus.

I have to admit that God was on my side, for the guy next to me held a gun, but just did not see the chance to shoot. Instead of them to try to subdue me or kill me, the one holding me at my side and the one at the back where just busy checking all my pockets to see what they can get out of my pocket. Haba, what manner of foolish robbers are these guys? That action again gave the power and the chance to launch another massive attack. I grabbed the guy next to me and held him tight. As I wrangled him, he lost control of himself, I pushed us both out of the bus and we landed on the side lane off the express-way. The bus sped off without even stopping for their guy.

Then on the road, we started struggling with each other and fighting heavily. By then we were close to iyan-isolo bus stop. Other onlookers who saw what happened came to us and separated us and took us to iyan-isolo but stop fully, under the bridge.

AND THE STORY CHANGED. There at iyan-isolo bus stop, the story took another turn for the worse. I am not going to slight the Yorubas here, but what happened to me that day made me to ask myself a big question. “Is Nigeria really one country, or a pack of directionless individuals fooling themselves under one entity and location in the west of Africa and calling themselves on nation”. (Forgive my language but “who feels it knows it”…Bob Nesta Marley).

Back to my story. When they separated us, some groups held me, while some groups held him. As I started narrating to them what happened, one person from God knows where came out from the blues, behind my back and gave me a dirty slap that covered my eyes “gbam”! I was totally blinded for some seconds, and was shocked at the action. He started speaking Yoruba (This is not proving that he is from the tribe, but that was what he spoke). Then I asked the people near to me, what he was saying and why did he slap me. They said the other guy (the one chance guy o) told them that I am a thief and that he is a police officer trying to arrest me and I tried to run and jumped off the bus. Imagine! Like Sound Sultan would say, “the hunter has become the hunted”.

Before you can say jack-silver…all the agboros under the bridge started shouting in Yoruba language and carrying woods and were hitting me from all corner and like I said, I suddenly discovered that I have become a target of tribal difference. The hunter has turned to the hunted. They slapped me from every corner even when I was shouting and telling them that the other man is the thief and he has just tried to rob me. They were speaking Yoruba and I was lost! Then, I broke down and started crying and shouting at them while the other guy was just standing there smiling and having a field day. I will not wish what happened to me that day to happen to even my enemy. It was hell on earth loosed upon an innocent person.

Some good Samaritans came in, pleaded on my behalf and took me to one side. They asked me which tribe I am from and I told them. I was then advised to do all I can and try to leave the place immediately, before something more terrible could happen to me. One of them got me a bike and told the bike man to speed off from the place and take me away. The bike man did as instructed, and that was how I left the place. That was how I survived both “one chance and mob attack”

All these while, I never knew how much injuries I had sustained. Not until the bike guy got me back home. People on my street gathered and asking what happened. When I looked at myself in the mirror…oh men! I looked like the ALUU4 guys before the fire was set on them, only that at least I had my clothes on…(May their innocent soul rest in peace). They took me to the hospital. That was when the inside injuries I had sustain began to bite me from within, real hard and I passed out. I only got to know where I was some three days later.

Right now I am very fine and everything is fine. But please this Christmas period, while you board buses and do your thing for the Christmas…always remember that EVERYBODY IS A SUSPECT and you can be a victim.

Look at the busses very well. Make sure there are many persons in the bus you enter. Make sure, that there are men, women and children in the bus before you enter. And even if your own mother is in that bus…if your mind tells you not to enter…omo no enter o. I rest my case here. Like Americans will say…GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

Be safe!

A new ad campaign debuted this week in Chicago that's sure to turn some heads. On Monday, 25 CTA buses began sporting ads from "My Jihad," a new educational campaign introduced by the Council on American-Islamic Relations' Chicago chapter (CAIR-Chicago).

Founded by Ahmed Rehab, CAIR-Chicago executive director, the campaign was conceived as a response to the anti-Islam ad campaign created by conservative blogger Pamela Geller, who ran a series of controversial "Defeat Jihad" ads on city buses last month. The goal of the campaign, Rehab explained, is "reclaiming Jihad from the Muslim and anti-Muslim extremists who ironically, but not surprisingly, see eye to eye on Jihad," according to a CAIR statement.

The literal meaning of Jihad, according to the BBC, is "struggle or effort" -- not simply a "holy war" waged on behalf of Islam. It is a central doctrine of the Islamic faith.

In addition to the public ads, the campaign urges supporters to use the #MyJihad hash tag to share insight into their own personal struggles or efforts. Muslims and non-Muslims alike have already contributed to the campaign.

"It is also about pushing for an intelligent and informed understanding of Islam and its concepts and practices in the media, the educational circles, and the public," Rehab continued. "Most of all, this campaign is about giving voice to our views, our practices, and simply put, our reality, a reality that is too big to be left out of the conversation.”

As Gellar did with her ads, Rehab hopes that the "MyJihad" ads will also appear in cities including New York, San Francisco, Houston, Seattle and Washington, D.C. in the future.

DBanj has just dropped "On Top Of The World" single for Sony Music. Sometimes back when Dbanj and Don Jazzy started this whole stuff and music mega machine company, people felt this joke will stop, but it never did. I knew it will not when I listened to "tongolo" their first smash... you know it.

Then I was madly following them and their interviews. In one of them, Don Jazzy said and I quote "Dbanj is a world class musician. There are songs he has written back then in England, but I told him to drop them for now, for we can not use them here in Nigeria". After listening to this track

http://10knews..com/2012/12/dbanj-drops-top-of-world-for-sony-music.html

I accept that Don Jazzy was right and submit completely to Don Jazzy that he is truly the music machine in Nigeria. If he can see this in Dbanj long, long, long time ago when nobody saw it, then he is really the Prophet of Music and Dbanj owe a thank you for seeing that in him, when no one did.

They are no longer together and both are greatly flying high in their respective fields, but when next time Don Jazzy tells you an artiste is good, take him serious.
