For the first time this weekend, i passed by a muslim (Gulf) country on my travels. The difference is so clear. The top 4 high points:

1. I teared up hearing the athan at the airport, haven't heard the athan in public for a long time.

2. It was a lot easier lowering the gaze, there is generally more decent dressing

3. Food- eating is so much easier ('cause you do not have to look for the halal label).

4. Praying Salah with my brothers..

Those are the high points. Negative points? That will be addressed in a more detailed post.
