This is about language and not islam. translation from one language to another can never be perfect. It is enough reason to doubt the english bible too. Try using Google translate and see the options it will give you during translation of some words.

Some words in a language can have over 3 meanings in another language. When you now traslate sequentially to 4 different languagees, immagine if the content will not almost be lost. The Quran is simply preserved in it original language and that in itself is a miracle whether you like it or not. among the oldest maniscript that still retains its original language.
the Hebrew and greek Bible is still there...u must not get it word4word,just understand what God is saying...! I know u are not fluent in Arabic.i hope u are not trying to tell me u are using the photocopy of what u say was revealed to muhammed, stop saying u have the original copy of the quran.

If the Quran wasn't from the all knowing, then from who was it from? Who could have known about the spherical shape of the earth when scientists were busy saying something else? !
The Bible said it first!

3:19 Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after

knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in

calling to account.

3:20 So if they dispute with you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) say: "I have submitted myself to Allah (in Islam), and (so have) those who follow me."

And say to those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and to those who are illiterates (Arab pagans): "Do you (also) submit yourselves (to Allah

in Islam)?" If they do, they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All-Seer of (His) slaves .

Now the explanation of the verse, this verse is simply telling the muslim that we should convey the message of islam to the people, but after we have convey

the message and yet you refuse to accept it, then our duty is only to covey the message and thats all in other words do not forse anyone to accept islam.

secondly you quoted sura 3 v 5 but u only quoted verse 5 without qouting verse 6. now the verse 9:5-6 But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and

slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish

regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for

asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah. and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge.

This verse was revealed towards the end of the revelation period and relates to a limited context. Hostilities were frozen for a three-month period during

which the Arabs pledged not to wage war. Prophet Muhammad was inspired to use this period to encourage the combatants to join the Muslim ranks or, if they

chose, to leave the area that was under Muslims rule; however, if they were to resume hostilities, then the Muslims would fight back until victorious. One is

inspired to note that even in this context of war, the verse concludes by emphasizing the divine attributes of mercy and forgiveness. To minimize hostilities,

the Qur'an ordered Muslims to grant asylum to anyone, even an enemy, who sought refuge. Asylum would be granted according to the customs of chivalry; the

person would be told the message of the Qur'an but not coerced into accepting that message. Thereafter, he or she would be escorted to safety regardless of his

or her religion. (9:6)fother explanation of this verse. Therefore, this verse once again refers to those pagans who would continue to fight after the period of

peace. It clearly commands the Muslims to protect those who seek peace and are non-combatants. It is a specific verse with a specific ruling and can in no way

be applied to general situations. The command of the verse was only to be applied in the event of a battle. so in a nutshell Sura 3:20 which you quoted and it

- But if they dispute with thee say: I submit myself entirely to Allah and (so does) he who follows me. And say to those who have been given the book and the

unlearned people: Do you submit, then indeed they follow the right way, and if they turn back, thy duty is only to deliver the message. And Allah is a seer of

the servants.this is just talking about preaching in a normal situation. but Sura 9:5 which says slay them where ever u find them this verse is talking on what

should the muslims do when the unbelieverse attack them and i have already given u the context of the verse so u will not say islam preaches violence. so at

the end there is no contradiction at all cos one verse is saying to the muslims preach the word of ALLAH and one verse is commanding the muslims to defend

themselves from the unbelievers and this is during war, hope this one is cleared. your sencond accusation is that whether or not jesus was killed and you

quoted Sura 3:55 - When Allah said 'O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in my presence and clear thee of those who disbelieve and make those who

follow thee above those who disbelieve to the day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, so I shall decide between you concerning that wherein you

differ.what you dont get right here is that GOD almighty is talking about the general death that everybody will die cos the quran says every soul shall taste

of death and its only GOD that will not die and the muslims ofcourse believe that jesus is not GOD but a human prophet and also he is coming back so when he

comes back after he has accomplished his mition of clearing the fact that he is not GOD TO THE People who believe he is then GOD ALMIGHTY WILL cause him to die

and after that he will be resurrected on the day of judgement just like everyone will be resurrected to life again on the day of judement. and you quoted Sura

4:156,157 - And for their disbelief and for their uttering against Mary a grievous calumny: And for their saying we have killed the Messiah, Jesus Son of Mary,

the messenger of Allah, and they killed him not, nor did they cause his death on the cross but he was made to them as such. And certainly those who differ

therein are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge about it, but they killed him not for certain.to say its contradicts the other verse u quoted. now this

verse is talking about those people who are saying that they killed and crucified jesus the QURAN is making it very clear that they did not infact kill him nor

did they crucify him. so in summary of this tow verse.Sura 3:55 is talkiing about the natural death that he jesus will do when he comes again and the natural

resurection that he will be raised to life angain on judgement day and GOD WILL CLEAR HIM from you christian who thinks he is GOD. AND Sura 4:156,157 IS

Talking about those people who thought that they crucified and killed jesus this verse is making it clear that they did not crucify him nor did they kill him

but GOD almighty raised him up to HIM self, so how is it a contradiction? and you quoted this verse and asking was muhmmamd the first muslim? and this is the

verse u quoted Sura 3:52 - But when Jesus perceived disbelief on their part, he said: Who will be my helpers in Allah's way? The disciples said: we are Allah's

helpers. We believe in Allah and bear witness that we are submitting ones

Sura 3:62 - Abraham was not a jew nor a christian, but he was an upright (man) a Muslim, and he was not one of the polytheists. first of all you have to know

the meaning of a muslim. A Muslim is anyone who submits his will to almighty GOD,and all the prophet of GOD Submitted their will to almighty GOD Including

jesus cos in mathew 26 v 39, its says he jesus went a little further and fell on his face just like we the muslims do and he prayed.also Then Abram fell on

his face. And God said to him(Genesis 17:3) so yes prophet muhammad is not the first muslims cos there were many prophet before him who submiited their will to

all mighty GOD. AND you quoted Sura 6:14 but let me give u a proper translation of the verses. [6:14] Say, "Shall I accept other than GOD as a Lord and Master,

when He is the Initiator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds but is not fed?" Say, "I am commanded to be the most devoted submitter, and, 'Do not be an

idol worshiper.' "

[6:15] Say, "I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the retribution of an awesome day.

[6:16] "Whoever is spared (the retribution), on that day, has attained His mercy. And this is the greatest triumph." now this verse if u read it carefuly you

will realize that prophet muhmmad who is receiving the revalation from GOD IS telling the people that from withing his on people being the leader of the people

as such he is commaded first to believe before anyother cos he is the role model of the people anything he does they if he believe the people also believe and

ofcourse the muslims believe also. so how is this contradiction ? all what you say has no contradiction at all.if you have another onece bring them pls

Sweetheart, grin
There is no contradiction in the above instances you brought out.don't turn yourself into a clown.and secondly I can assure you that I've tried my best to spot a contradiction in the Quran myself and unlike the bible which is full of all sorts of errors and contradictions, the Quran has none!

And please don't ask me to waste my time to explain the instances you brought.christians have previously tried harder than the above and failed even on nairaland here.it surely would make you feel good about yourself by having a wet dream that there is contradiction in the Quran.

So I leave it up to you to think, rationalize and for yourself to explain and tell us why the instances you brought are not contradictory.tell us and prove you're not dumb!

You are a liar like your quran. Everyone can see there are sharp contradictions and all you can say is that there are no contradictions. Where is your explanation to prove there are no contradictions?
