..Just thinking..I havent been to many countries but but the few I have seen seem to have at least our rating or better. I thought power situation would be really bad in Cameroon (forgive me) but It wasnt as bad (at least in Doaula where I went). So is there any country with worse power problem??

Like you stated, you do not measure the power situation of a country by your experience in their capital city. They may well be 'constant light' there, but what about outside it, the rural areas etc? Fact is if you assess all nations on earth, Nigeria will be somewhere in the middle in terms of access to electricity. This is because in Nigeria access to electricity is not limited to cities as is the case with many developing nations. Efforts have been made in Nigeria to extend the national grid into rural areas, more than most other African nations, so there's more widespread access even if the light comes and goes.
