Hello all,

Having visited Lagos a few times in the past few months, I have clearly realised that the negative stories about the city are grossly exaggerated. In fact, I find the place quite likeable.

Which is a good thing, as I am about to move there!

Having noticed that the prices for renting a place to live are rather steep, I am considering buying an apartment rather than renting, as I am likely to stay for the long term.

I believe somewhere around Lekki, rather close to VI would be ideal. Can someone please give me any ideas of estates with an acceptable safety level and good infrastructure?
