We'll add one LGA from Osun to Oyo and it makes just one state in the whole of the SW bigger than the whole of the SE. So next time you guys decide to compare Enugu to Oyo, just be sure that you could do better by comparing the SE to Oyo in which case Oyo's GDP is even higher than the GDP of any SE state

GDP is wack. Measure poverty in real terms. An average Igbo man is far less poor than an average Yorubaman.

^^What are you on about? Going by the map above (which may not be to scale), Niger state in bigger than the whole South-west, so what's your fuc/king point?

You talk of GDP as if you don't know Igbos and the South-eastern economy is mainly driven by private/informal initiative, which would not be as easy to gauge as economies which depend more on federal gov't handouts, and all sorts of advantages they've criminally coveted from the centre since the early 70's while the South-east was being marginalized economically.

The statistics is quite revealing Oyo state bigger than Igbo land / SE . But just IMO state alone produces more graduates than the whole of oyo,ogun,ondo put together. I can see that oyo is also the dirtiest state in Nigeria while IMO is the cleanest

Musiwa your line of argument is good however it does not follow well when you consider that ondo gets more from. The federation account than IMO but produces less graduates / manpower .

The Yorubas have had countless opportunities to form a republic and at each occasion when the opportunity comes they beat a retreat and join the Arewas in chorusing one nigiriya .
Of recent they were shouting regional integration and how the want to build rail lines here and there , upto the extent of deporting some street people to onitsha everyone took the Yorubas seriously ,particularly with the banning of okada mainly operated by aboki . To observers odua region was just a matter of seconds until last week when I received the shock of my life during the public debates on the constitution when the whole of south west rattan than canvass the restructuring of the federation started chorusing statusquo and creation of 5 more states .

Imo state collect more money than ondo state, when you add up all of this.. even while ondo state is 2 to 3 times the population of Imo state..
