If you want to feel the speed of MTN.....get a high-end smartfone e.g GS3 (not all these crappy BBs ooh).....and do a wi-fi hotspot.

Why didn't they increase the daily bundle. 150mb is damn too small.

Oh hear ye, oh hear ye my people. What shall it profit a man to have a huge data bundle, but experience techinal difficulties, that won't let u use up to 100mb of your data plan.

I download 5GB in 3hrs(my IDM gets upto 1mb/sec speed sometimes) on EmptyHen,,, I watch/stream videos with little or no buffering,,, I don't think it's a big deal...

yeah actually am in Nigeria, Ajao Estate is my base and yeah IDM does my dirty downloads,,, 1MB/s affords me download as many gigs as I want in a few hours + steady streaming so to me MTN are pretty much trying for me...

Just insert your airtel sim in your Airtel modem, and you are good to go. However, if you are not using an Airtel modem, create a new profile for Airtel and change the apn to internet.ng.airtel.com

Try etisalat or airtel and you'd discover that you don't necessarily need a samsung GS3 or any high end phone to experience speed

Does Airtel provide 3G services on their BIS at all? I use a 3G blackberry and decided to patronise Airtel since yesterday. They've only provided me with EDGE network instead of 3G. What could b d cause?

The truth is....MTN intentionally sells that 3.6mbps modem.......make people like you no go crash the network with your downloads.
