I think it has a lot to do with scriptural interpretation. Each person likes to believe the Spirit has spoken to him, so whatever the other says that's slightly in contrast to what we believe is right becomes an issue--guess that's where the True n Fake Christian tag comes from....and well, Christians are the most stubborn and un-accomodating people i have ever seen too.
