Students should get atleast six hours night sleep before exam,because memory recall and ability to maintain concentration are better improved when individual is rested enough as well as increasing performance in the examination.
So lets cultivate the habbit of early learning and not just when the exams is around the corner because reading more and more Aid better understanding.

I never studied at night, I was always top 5 when a student, Glad I've been vindicated. Listen in class, review notes immediately after class, shun unnecessary activities and use the time for extra study. Then sleep well at night

Read at night all tru my university days at Ife and blasted. Some of my friends can read and assimilate with heavy metal rock blaring out of d speakers. I find it hard to read in the day. So my 6 hrs from midnight to morning sure pass. Understand urself, there are no hard and fast rules to these tins.

Different people wift different views. Wat works for me, might nt work for u. All tru my sch days I did my readings@nyts nd it paid off very well for me. My routine was sleep as earlyas 8pm, wake up 1 or 2am@ nyt, read till 5am and go back to bed till 7am. Wift dat I nor cheat nature jawe. Am a fan of nyt reading, nt d hurry type of reading.

While I was in school, I dont read at nite. I made sure I was present during lectures, whatever was taught stuck till today,any class I miss, whatever was taught was lost too.

I wrote the last CIPM professional exam, due to the nature of my job, I could only read at night, and I utilised it.

Am a type dat doesnt copy 4m pepl in xam hall. Dia ws an xam( FST 346) i hd already prepared 4, but i choose 2 reread all d materials a 9t b4 d xam. So I read 4m 6pm to 5am n enter hall around 10am 4 d xam. I saw evrytn i knw,bt i tried 2 remmba dm, my brain ws as if it ws envelopd by drawzins. I couldn't remember. i xplaind n told d invegilator dat i want 2 sleep 4 just 1 hour in xam hall n he permited. Wn i woke up 1 hr leta, i cud dn remember wat 2 write. Well, i had d course B(66%). I learnt my lesson dn.

Trust me, its 4am now...and I am reading preparing for exams next week...dont ask me where I am...in North America...figure it out. I have been reading like this since I was in Naija n graduated with d best in my set...#check d records#
However, doing this a day to the paper u r preparing for could be disastrous becos ur brain would be so stretched...so in that regard, I wouldnt advise it.
Back in Naija, I read almost 3 days in a week, all night (Thursday to Saturdays) because most fridays are lecture free...Its pratically the same here...

Bottom line - My brain dey kamkpe...no lele...as e dey hot!

I'm sure she didnt graduate higher than a 2:2. Rush hour reading can never make you perform better than the material you rush to read. Perfoming better requires reading wider than the notes you were given in class.

Did enough awoko but never really liked it. In university, as a student of graphics, I did my practicals during the day and read my theory courses at night since colours alter at night.

One notable things in Nigerian universities is that we read to pass, not to retain..

All the bloody literature, fine art, islamic banking and history i learnt years ago has been of zero value in my life

throughout my days in Ife, whenever i had a paper in the morning, i usually spent my nights reading at white house. I used to move from white house straight to the venue of my exam. No brushing or bathing. It worked for me. Just know urself period!

Any reading that i dont do with daylight, i do not participate. I will just be playing with sleep in futility.

What i usually do is after the everyday's lectures, i retire to the school library and spend 2-3 hours there before going home. That is more than enough time to cover all my books. This is when others go home to unwind and visit friends.
