The Grammy Awards was yesterday Sunday (February 10) and it was a milestone for rapper Kanye West as he bagged three Grammy Awards to add to the collections he has won in previous years. West’s “Graduation” has earned the artist his third straight album of the year nomination — but he’s never won the big prize, and he hasn’t been shy about expressing his discontent about the situation. Kanye West’s Grammy nominations have all been in rap categories. West leads the pack with eight nominations including Album of the Year for Gradation, which spawned the hit singles “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Good Life” both of which are up for nominations as well.
