there when it comes to minivan
mileage. The M5 isn't the prototypical
minivan. It is smaller than most, and
only has a four cylinder engine. This

Minivan'. The M5 can get 28 miles per
gallon on the highway and 22 miles
per gallon in the city.

2. Honda Odyssey

The Odyssey is one of the better
minivans out there, and it does just
fine when it comes to gas mileage.
The Odyssey comes with a powerful
3.5 liter V6 engine, meaning that it
should not do well with fuel. It actually
does pretty good, coming in at 25
miles per gallon on the highway and
18 miles per gallon in the city. That is
for the manual transmission version,
and the automatic version gets about
2 miles per gallon less on average.

3. Toyota Sienna

The Toyota Sienna is practically the
same thing as the Odyssey, since they
are nearly the same size and contain
the same features. The Sienna has a
more powerful engine, same 3.5 liter
V6, but with about 30 more
horsepower than the Odyssey. Due to
this, it gets a little less gas mileage and
comes in at 23 miles per gallon on the
highway, and 17 miles per gallon in

4. Volkswagen Routan

The Routan is one of the more
powerful minivans on this list. It
comes with a 4.0 liter V6 engine,
which has 250 plus horsepower. The
ratings for the Routan are 25 miles
per gallon on the highway, and 17
miles per gallon in the city.
Surprisingly, the 3.8 liter V6 trim
version gets around 2 miles less per
gallon on both the highway and city.

5. Chrysler Town & Country

The Chrysler Town & Country is also
very similar to the models above. The
4.0 liter V6 six speed automatic trim
model can get 25 miles per gallon on
the highway and 17 miles per gallon
in the city. The 3.8 liter V6 only gets 23
miles per gallon on the highway, and
16 miles per gallon in the city.

6. Dodge Caravan & Grand Caravan

Both of these models have 4.0 liter V6
engines available, which can produce
25 miles per gallon on the highway,
and 17 miles per gallon in the city.
They also come in 3.8 liter models as
well, and get 2 miles per gallon less
on each rating. You can also get a
lower tier engine, a 3.3 liter V6, and
still come away with 24 miles per
gallon on the highway, and 17 miles
per gallon in the city.
