So there is this argument going on in my house. One camp says that it is possible to jump to Mphil (after B.Sc) without doing a Masters degree first! While d other insist that a Masters degree is a prerequisite before obtaining Mphil! Eg, one has a 2:1in Microbiology, can one go on to take Mphil form without an M.Sc? To me it doesn't sound feasible.

Yes you can master of philosophy, though closer to a phd can be gotten without a master of science degree, as any lecturer

I jux want to know d range of fees includin accomodation.am a corper n wld round up by Oct,d form is out nau and I av some cash for its purchase but I won't b able to fend for high fees after paying for d acceptance. Or is it possible I get admitted and defer my admission for a year

I think its in the range of 120 to 150k. MBA for example pays 200k for full time. Dunno abt accomodation tho. Also, you could defer your admission for a year if you want to. Goodluck.

thks for d info... More questions on my mind and as I remember I will lyk to ask u since I avnt schooled in Benin or its environs before. Taking an accomodation outside n staying inside schl which is better and aw much can I get d accomodation outside.

Yes m.sc is a prerequisite for m.phil master in philosophy, it emanated as a result of msc candidates not making upto required points for Ph.D (4.5 though it had been reduced to 4.0 in some schs for lack of candidates)
