Five peersons have Been arrested In connection with November 13 robbery at home Lagos state governor's special adviser on information and strategy Alhaji lateef raji in shogunle, a Lagos suburb. Parading the suspects yesterday at the police head quarters, ikeja, the commands spokesperson, mrs ngozi braide, named them as MOMO JIMOH, aka jamiu, 38, who was identified as the gang leader,SHEIDU MUSARI, 24, SODIQ DAUDA, 38 AHMED ABBDULKAREEM, 32 and MORUF BABATUNDE, 29, and one keske at large. Braide, a deputy supretendant of police (DSP), said that one locally maide pistol with six rounds of live catridges, one HP laptop and one nokia 200 were recovered from the suspects. She said their arrest came on the heel of massive manhunt by the special anti robbery squad (SARS), adding: "it took exhausstive investigation and phone tacking operations, conducted by the detectives from SARS to perform the feat," the gang leader said he brought his way out of prison in another case, with 200.000 before the robbery in Raji's home. MUSARI who hails from Okene Kogi State, said he was a tailor, adding that another member of the gang, Keske, is at large. He said that they were three, adding that they entered Raji's house through the toilet. DAUDA claimed to be a buyer, adding that he bought the nokia handset for N35.000, the laptop, N35,000, the other recovered laptop, N30,000 at the computer village, Ikeja. ABDULKAREEM soar he was the gang's informant, adding that JIMOH was customer. Adding that he was the one who asked JIMOH to look for a big man for them to rob in his area. BABATUNDE who describes himself as the gangs major buyer, is a computer repairer at the computer village.
