Can One Replace A Nissan Maxima V6 Engine With A 4 Plug Engine? by sekesi2009(m): 11:59am On Dec 10, 2012
Pls, i need advice. my Nissan maxima 1996 model is a Tokunbo which was got in June. its my first car & its a manual transmission with a V6 engine but i observed recently that d engine is making some noise occasionally. In addition 2 this, it consumes fuel a lot. The dealer told me that i can change d engine after about a year or two of use while d mechanic also says i might need to change it after a while. But my big question is CAN ONE CHANGE THE ENGINE TO A 4 PLUG ENGINE (V4) ?

You want to build a new car? Replace with another V6 engine if the engine is dead!!!!

If your engine has expired, then for Pete's sake, replace it with another engine of the same type. If you don't like V6 engines, then sell it once you've got it fixed.

I can't understand why you guys like to create multiple problems for yourselves.
