I wonder why the wicked & corrupt are the ones living longer nowadays while the good ones are dieing. Whenever I see or hear about an evil man adding one more year I weep. Why couldn't the maker of man exchange their lives with those of great & honorable men gone untimely a long time ago to the world beyond. Good men like the great arch-bishop Benson Idahosa, sunny okosun, pastor kumuyi's wife, pastor bimbo odukoya & other philantropists whose lives were cut short in the course of serving humanity & doing good. Sir, since you & your partners-in-crime like OBJ, IBB, sultan of sokoto, Bode george, Tinubu etc have sworn over your dead bodies would Nigeria get better, you people have also refused to die, MAY YOU ALL LIVE FOREVER!

Happy birthday sir, MAY THOSE WHO CURSE YOU UNJUSTLY RECEIVE BACK THEIR CURSES IN 20 FOLDS TOGETHER WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND THEIR GENERATION YET UNBORN

SO BEFORE YOU CURSE HIM, MAKE SURE YOU'RE SURE OF WHY YOU ARE CURSING HIM AND IF YOU HAVE FACTS TO PROVE THEM.

Happy birthday Buhari!
However, we still hold you solely responsible for the rot in Nig today. By truncating democracy and handing us into the DEADLY ARMS of IBB and Abacha, you are solely responsible for whatever Nigeria has become today. Moreover, we also remember the SEVERE HARDSHIP Nigerians suffered when Buhari ruled MAXIMALLY as confirmed by his biography in Brittanica.

Muhammad Buhari , Muhammad also spelled Muhammadu (born Dec. 17, 1942, Daura, Nigeria), Nigerian military leader and politician, who served as head of state (1984–85).
Educated largely in Katsina , Buhari took military training in Kaduna as well as in Great Britain, India, and the United States. He was INVOLVED in the military coup that ousted Yakubu Gowon in 1975 and was appointed military governor of North Eastern state (now Borno ) that same year. He WAS APPOINTED federal commissioner for petroleum resources BY Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo , who became military head of state when Gowon’s successor, Murtala Mohammed, was assassinated in 1976. By 1977 Buhari had become the military secretary at Supreme Military Headquarters, which was the seat of government. By September 1979 he had returned to regular army duties and commanded a division based in Kaduna. Although elected government had returned to Nigeria in 1979, dissatisfaction with what the military perceived as corrupt politicians led to another military coup on Dec. 31, 1983, and Buhari was chosen unanimously to be the new head of state.
INSURMOUNTABLE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS plagued the Buhari regime as petroleum prices collapsed in the face of EXPANDING FOREIGN DEPT. Buhari instituted austerity measures that caused SEVERE HARDSHIP to the average Nigerian. In addition, POLITICAL CORRUPTION CONTINUED unabated, with politicians escaping to Western countries with millions of dollars in government money. In an effort to STOP DISSENSION, Buhari instituted restrictions on the press, political freedoms, and trade unionists. By August 1985 even the military had had enough, and Ibrahim Babangida took control of the government. Buhari was detained in Benin City but was released at the end of 1988.

In addition, Buhari's DISDAIN and HATRED for the southern part of this country is obvious in how he disbursed Niger Delta(including Ondo) and Igbo oil money as PTF chairman.

Here's part of Afenifere's submission at the Oputa panel;

The Abacha regime created a parallel government through the Petroleum Trust
Fund (PTF) headed by Major General Muhammed Buhari. Nothing else typifies
the marginalization of the Yoruba than the lopsidedness of the projects
carried out by the PTF. Figures from PTF Situation Reports (Vol. 2 Dec. 98)
show that the PTF carried on as if there was no South West.
Of all the roads rehabilitated by the PTF, only 1984.5 kilometres of roads
representing 10.84 per cent were carried out in the South West; from where
the bulk of the PTF revenue came since the zone consumes over 60 per cent of
refined petroleum products. All the Southern States had 4,440.43 kms or 24
per cent of road rehabilitation as against 13,870.47 kms or 76 per cent in
the Northern States zone three comprising the North-West States of Jigawa,
Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara had a lion share of 5020
kms or 27.42 per cent because the Fund’s Chairman, Buhari andthe military
dictator Sani Abacha were from there; zone four comprising the North-East
States of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe picked 23.48 per
cent. This is the zone where Salihijo Ahmed, the late Chief Executive of
Afri-Project Consortium APC, the sole consultants that supervisedall PTF
projects came from.
Figures in other sectors were more scandalous. For instance, under the
National Health and Educational Rehabilitation Programme (NHERP), the South
West had zero allocation in the tertiary programme, while the North picked
100 per cent. In the vocational programme, the South West hadzero while the
North had 97 per cent. In the primary area, the South-West had zero against
88 per cent for the North and inthe secondary area, it was zero for the
South-West and 86 per cent for the North.
The health sector is similar. For the Teaching Hospitals, the South-West had
zero while the North had 62 percent. For the Specialist Hospitals,it was
zero for the South-West and 71 per cent for the North; in General/State
Hospitals the Yoruba had nothing while the North had 56 per cent for health
clinics, it was zero for the South-West against the North’s 100 per cent.
Under the food supply summary, the Southwest had 7.26 per cent compared with
83 per cent for the North, Buhari’s zone having 60.54 per cent to itself.

ehie: and more prayers to you sir,

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields ,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortunes
and rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness

May the blessing of the rain be on you—
the soft sweet rain.
May it fall upon your spirit
so that all the little flowers may spring up,
and shed their sweetness on the air.
May the blessing of the great rains be on you,
may they beat upon your spirit
and wash it fair and clean,
and leave there many a shining pool
where the blue of heaven shines,
and sometimes a star.
from this day forward.

May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Amen
A big and mighty Amen 2 dat. Happy birthday Sir

Happy Birthday to u honest dedicated nigerian leader . Although lots of Nigerians are too narrow-minded to see the truth in you . Nigerians allowed polititians (who just wanted to fool them )to decieve them into believing u wanted to islamize Nigeria . They allowed themselves to be decieved into believing that u support Boko Haram . But the wise ones know it is not true . We ( the wise ) know u are the only one leader in nigeria that not just one case of corruption can NOT be traced to .

May the God of truth keep u , give u good health , long life and peace . May u live to see a Nigeria of your dream which u have always longed for .

( Please note I am a christian and not a muslim and even from the southern part of the country )

Though I'm not a fan of Buhari, I'll advice him to leave the sharky and murky waters of Nigerian politics and enjoy his old age. By 2015 Buhari will be 73 years and I sincerely do believe that all those asking him to contest for president are not wishing him well because they know that for Buhari to win the election is akin to using a spoon to scoop the entire water in atlantic ocean into a basket.

Sir enjoy your old age and leave sychophants, praise singers, opportunist, contract seekers, appointment seekers, lobyists, whistle blowers, image makers, fifth columnists, dogs and baboons. These are cankerworms that can facilitate your exit. HBD sir.
