Many of the discoveries attributed to Greek philosophers like Pythagoras, Plato etc were not actually discovered by them, but were actually stolen from the discoveries and ANCIENT MYSTERIES of Babylon and Egypt. The knowledge of right-angled triangles (so called Pythagoras theorem) for example has been in use in the ancient near east and in Egypt long before Pythagoras was born. The Babylonians and ancient Egyptians were great mathematicians and astronomers who formulated precise mathematical calculations to study the movement of the celestial bodies through the heavens, and made accurate predictions of eclipses. They also discovered the anomalous clock-wise rotation of the planet Venus among other things. They also knew how to solve equations in linear, quadratic and cubic forms. The ancient civilizations of Babylon and Egypt influenced the scientific and religious revolutions in Europe. They were indeed deeply advanced people, both in science and in religion.
