Attention: Please suggest a nice baby cream or lotion for a fair skinned baby. Have using a particular one for them since birth now i cant find it around. Want a good one also that readily available in shops. By referencing "fair-skinned", you're already heading down the wrong path. There's no separate lotion for "fair-skinned" and dark complexioned babies. There's just baby lotion for babies, which is not skin-tone specific. If you continue to stress the "fair-skinned" aspect, your child will grow up with a skin-tone complex, and feel he / she needs to stick to skin toners / lightening creams to be acceptable. Not a good move. We use Johnsons Baby Lotion for our kids, with good results. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Use Johnson's. . . it will preserve your baby's skin. . .fair as over-ripe mangos or as black as 'hell's charcoal'! Or good 'ol vaseline will do! |

Attention: Thanks siena would try it again though the first time i did they react to it having reddish rashes and when i stopped it cleared. any other suggestions? If you feel she reacted to the lotion, then I would suggest you see your GP. My first child had a rash on her face, neck and back, and my GP recommended Oilatum cream and body wash, which cured it. We continued using Johnsons Baby Lotion after the rash cleared, and it never came back. With my second baby, no rash issues. She's now 5-months-old. I'm not suggesting your baby has the same issue, a GP's advice is always best. Good luck! 1 Like |

Johnson Baby Lotion is very good as suggested as it is mild on baby's skin. Also look for original palm kernel oil and apply all over their skin after bathing. |

You can never go wrong using plain old PETROLEUM JELLY on your baby's skin. All this one wey una dey buy this and that brand name . . guess what? They all do the same thing to your baby's skin that plain old vaseline or petroleum jelly will do . . . . coat it. That is all! Unless your baby's skin has some medical special need, you waste money purchasing brands for the name. 5 Likes 1 Share |
