There is time for everything- time for pampering, time for quietness, time for being open and time for saying the truth no matter the cost, and I think now is the time to tell you that sad, bitter truth that will save you from:

1. Being rejected by girls whenever you ask them out
2. Being dumped by men after using you
3. Being rejected by the society
4. Dying poor
5. Blaming your present life condition on your parents, friends, society and government.

This truth will set you free from most of your life traumas. It will set you free from being a perpetual nobody, a failure, and a person no one wants to associate with, even in places you deserve to be respected.

I know you are in a hurry to hear the truth, but please calm down, because shortly, you will be hearing that truth that no one has ever dared to tell you, just because they are too compassionate not to break your heart or to make you see reasons why you are lagging behind in the society.

I had this inborn passion and talent for writing, right from childhood, to the extent that when I was in JSS1, I wrote more than 20 debate articles with so many grammatical errors of course, *winks*. By the time I was in JSS3, I had already started writing my first novel- Inheritance of Sorrows, a novel written out of Biafra-Nigeria civil war stories my parents told me and few experiences I got from books I read about that bloody civil war.

I went as far as writing articles on how to make Nigeria a paradise, etc...and guess what? I was only 13 or 14 then. But then, my analytical talent, which made me a great mathematical student then in the secondary school, deceived my teachers and family to the extent that they always told me that I will be a great engineer, reason for my going into sciences instead of arts. But even as a science student, I never missed the periodic drama shows and cinemas organized for the art students. No one knew about my inborn talent for literature, so I ended up studying engineering- not regretting though.

I lost my first novel manuscript because no one saw the burning passion I had for literature, and for that, I didn't took it beyond writing just for fun and as a hobby.

Why am I telling you all these cock and bull story? Just to tell you how it feels not to know the truth. No one told me this truth that I am about to tell you, so you are lucky!

The world is in need, and if you cannot provide proven solution(s) to any of the world’s needs, believe me, the world (humans, animals, plants, etc) won’t care about you. That is the truth. The world has so many needs- entertainment need, fun need, material need, health need, scientific need, technological need, academic need, religious need, hospitality need, leadership need, food need, information need, etc…which of the aforementioned needs can you solve for the world? If your answer is none, then the world doesn’t care about you.

Mark Zuckerberg solved a world’s problem, he provided a proven solution to a global need- socializing and entertainment, and the world care so much about him. Michael Jackson provided a memorable solution to the world’s entertainment need, and the world cared so much about him until his death. Bill Gates provided a lasting solution to the world’s technology need, and the world is celebrating him. Obama answered to the American need for leadership, and Americans and the world care about him. How many will I mention and how many will I leave behind?

Everyday you sit at home, or lie on the bed and cry that no girl wants to love you, no girl wants to accept you as a boyfriend, when you are a nice guy, a good guy, etc…and that girls keep accepting to date bad guys who move around with so many girls. Now, let me bring this to your knowledge- girls don’t date you out of pity, hardly do they, they desire to date you when you can provide their needs- entertainment, fashion, food, emotional, material and of course financial needs. She doesn’t care if you are Mr. Nicest if you cannot provide her needs, so go out there and make yourself a world solution provider and see how girls will rush after you, irrespective of how many girlfriends they see around you.

The same way as a girl, you keep complaining that guys are wicked, guys are bad, guys are senseless, guys are dogs, and that no guy wants to love genuinely, says who? Guys are seriously searching for girls to meet their needs- emotional needs, spiritual needs, etc…so don’t think the only need guys have is sexual need, nope! Definitely both guys and ladies have sexual needs, but that’s not their only needs. So if the only need of guy you can meet is his sexual need, believe me, the chances that he will put you in a special place in his heart is very slim. But if you can meet his sexual need as well as other needs, believe me, you will be the one making choice of guys.

It is only girls that have no other solution to the world’s needs aside sex, that keep complaining that guys only use and dump them. Men don’t play with virtuous women, and who is a virtuous woman? A virtuous woman is multiple solution provider; she doesn’t only solve men’s sexual needs, but she proffer plenty other solutions.

Hmmm. Nice one. But what if a writer, due to one experience or the other, has lost touch with his/her writing skills? Is there still hope?

If you do not let those irrelevant habits and lifestyles of yours slip away now, believe me, you may end up poor and unhappy forever, I pray not. Put a stop to habitual viewing of television at the expense of your personal development. Put a stop to your habitual surfing of the internet in search of love and friendship that will hardly come forth. Make yourself a solution provider, and see how people will locate you to date and to love you, even if you are living in the most remote place in the world.

You have a passion for drawing, but the habit of browsing the internet in search of chat mates and fun mates, have derailed you from your passion, to the extent that you can hardly draw a kite. You have the passion of writing, but the habit of constantly watching entertainment television channels have killed that passion of writing in you, now is the time to stop!

You can play football, but you no longer go for morning jugs and practice because you need to catch up with a chat mate on 2go, facebook, BBM, Whatsapp, etc, please stop now for your own good.

You can knit, you can cook, but your latest hobby of surfing the internet for fun, to chat, to socialize with people you don’t even know, have killed those passions in you, to the extent that you cannot even boil a white rice anymore.

You used to read constantly nonstop for five hours at night, or in the day, but internet surfing and film watching have killed that zeal, you now study for less than an hour, and you still desire to graduate with the best result, how?

If I continue, believe me, there won’t be a stop, but then, I have to stop…

What is the truth? The world doesn’t care about you if you have no solution to the uncountable world’s problems. The world is bleeding; it needs an urgent medical attention, so it only cares about medical doctors and those with medical expertise who can stop the bleeding. The world doesn’t care about your nice character, beautiful or handsome look, and the world doesn’t care about your unfulfilled dreams, unless you bring them to reality.

You want to be a lawyer, s musician, a doctor, a celebrity, a president, etc…the world doesn’t care about those dreams, if you cannot bring them to reality. Until those dreams becomes reality, then can the world care about you. So stop blaming girls for being materialistic and go out there and provide solutions to the world’s problems and acquire money, so you can be cherished by women. Stop calling guys names, you are beautiful doesn’t mean men will worship you if you have no other solution to their problem to render other than sex, once they get the sexual solution they need from you, they zoom off to meet some other lady with multiple solutions to offer.

Stay inspired, stay focused, say no to all irrelevant lifestyles that adds nothing to your personal development. Make a better New Year resolution now, and make sure you stick to it, and work faithfully towards it…I wish you all a wonderful Christmas celebrations, and please do send my own xmas rice next tomorrow…merry Christmas Nigerians!

Sure, there is always a hope so long as the person is alive and still breathes. The best way to start is to start all over again. Start writing again- in fact write on everything u can think of. Write about your vacation experiences, your hobbies, you bad and good encounter with people, your life challenges and experiences, your career, etc. Just start writing without fear of not writing interesting thing.

At least, thank God for platforms like- nairaland, facebook, etc, where u can air your write-ups and get criticized by ppl who dnt know u- which serves as a good way of accessing your writing skill and performance.

Just start writing again, there is no magic needed besides constant practice- take up a challenge; two articles on any topic everyday for 30 days, and watch out the outcome
